So got the car back on Tuesday....apparently, did not need to replace any modules. They said it was all software. I frankly still do not trust the car and probably wont do any long drives for the time being.....

Doesn't it state on the slip you received a new 12v battery?

I did get a new 12V battery as well. But I don’t believe that was the root cause of the problem. They started with that the day they received the vehicle but it was not successful. I believe they just left the new battery in since they already installed it.

the original failure that I had was a charge fault failure right after a long drive. So it does not make sense that the LVB was the cause. But I may be wrong

The OBCC module was updated (controls DC charging). Reference TSB 22-2057. They probably saw a P1A3C code in history.

What's strange is that the OP was trying to AC charge when the fault occurred. Which is controlled by the SOBDM instead of the OBCC.

If it happens again, I would push to have 21P22 done so all your powertrain modules get updated, including the SOBDM and BECM.

hhhhmmmmmm, so presumably on the 'long drive', the OP had a problem in the HV side while DCFC, which threw codes that prevented the system from maintaining the LV correctly ?

Or, am I reaching a wrong conclusion? searching for a pattern in this and other threads, it SEEMS that people that have had LV bricks are also users of DCFC. But not all DCFC users have problems, so I'm not seeing a clear pattern yet.

no dcfc done for several weeks prior to the failure. It has been all AC level 2 charging

What brand of charger were you using at home? Just fishing around here for other possible common elements in these failures......
