The 200k rate was for Mach Es alone.
Hmm, I think it's for all EVs *including hybrids) from the manufacturer. This is discussed much in other threads on the tax credit fade away and Ford's production pace.
Pt of interest. Tesla lost their eligibility for the US tax credit a long time ago. They produced 295,000 model3/y in first quarter of 2022 while Ford did 18,152 MME.

Ah, just occurred to me that your terse comment was meant for Ford CEO's vow to escalate production of the MME to much higher level. Maybe he will, but not likely in 2022.

Mine was built and shipped, could it be because mine is the full spec'd GT? Or am I just lucky.

Now if they could only work on getting the loads of cars built in March (like mine) still collecting dust shipped out...
They have to get the ones built in January, then finished in March, shipped first (like mine). ;)

Many of us have speculated that they try to ship them right away if they have all of the parts on the line to build it on the first pass while any cars without all of the required parts on the line sit in a parking lot, possibly parked-in by newer cars (the line is first-in-first-out but the parking lot is whichever cars are accessible). Logistics/shipping capacity may make it impossible for them to ship everything coming off the line complete (first-pass), in which case they could be looking at other things (eg profit margin, EV states vs not, etc). My loaded GTPE (same config as yours) was built 2/25 and has not yet shipped. I am not in an EV state and my order predates all of the price increases (lower profit margin). I have also wondered if some builds are impacted by a quality issue (dead LV battery from sitting around so long, the dreaded "Stop safely now" issue, etc) and they are "built" but waiting for replacement parts. This is all speculation with some very limited empirical evidence to support.

If you believe that logistics/shipping constraints are driving many of us with January builds to be stuck in "built" status with no line of sight to being shipped, this strikes me as very bad news. This may mean more cars coming off the line with all of their parts that will ship before ours....
Just got an email from my dealer today (first in six months) letting me know my Premium has been built, is stuck in Santa Rita, but should be headed East on April 22nd. This also happens to be my birthday, so...crossing fingers.

Wow, I waited a year and a half for my MME and you guys are chomping at the bit after six months. As was said, patience is a virtue. It will be worth it.

I order my GT in October. Build week 4/21. Shipped on 4/28. Just arrived in Texas, now we will see how long it takes to get to New Hampshire.
