I have had 21P22 performed twice and I have 2.5.3 power up. The wiki notes said powerup 2.4.2 updates the charging curve. Beginning to think my car is a lost cause for quick charging. My latest try was a chargepoint 62.5 another Mach-e had charged there and had a good experience, When my car hit 80% it dropped to 7.8kW.

You need to have someone with FDRS run your VIN and see if your car is truly up to date. We’ve had several on here who got their car back from the dealer after 21P22 with some modules not updated.

Some dealers are incompetent, some others just lazy and lie about doing all the updates.

I can check to see what updates you still have available if you want to send me your VIN.

The second time the dealer provided FDRS event printout to show they had done 21p22, with the OTA 2.4.2 could it still be our of date?

Whoever is doing your updates is not doing them correctly. The 2.4 series updates have to do with BlueCruise… so they aren’t hitting the charging curve with those. It’s the 21P22 that you need to have done correctly. I bet if you were to pull a history on the updates, you will see a single module done each time, not the 11 or so modules that are supposed to be updated.

You're still missing the OBCC update, which is why you still have the charging cliff. OTA 2.4.2 includes the BECM update, but not the OBCC. Your dealer also only updated 2 of the 4 door control modules.

So if I bought the mongoose pro and a 2 day FDRS I could just update that module myself

Yes, you could. You'll also need a 12V power supply. Some people have done updates without one, but I don't recommend it.

Sure wish someone in Dallas had one. Just checked and Amazon can't get it to me till the 14th that is the date of my trip to Missouri!

You could try to get back into your dealer before then so they can give it a 3rd try. What kind of report did they give you from FDRS the last time? Did it look like the one that I posted?

I might buy mongoose too! Especially if they decide to unlock more battery on 2021 cars. Then I'll would do it and charge curve cliff.

I’ve done a round trip Missouri to Dallas without the updates. It’s not bad.

Pretty sure BC OTA updates bring 21P22 changes as well, it’s in TSB
