Trying not to be too political here but I think this has been a problem for a long time (and been building up). It sucks.

There are plenty of data that show that there have been major issues with shipping (trucking, railway, and maritime shipping) not being very good for employees for a very long time. The consequences are becoming apparent to the rest of us because the collisions between a lot of forces. The "whys" for all of this can be hotly debated, but the fact is that people are deciding not to work in these industries for very good reasons.

Based on the LIFO process Ford commonly uses, I think you are going to be shipped out of KC first. I've been there since the 9th as far as I know.

I wonder if the KC railyard has contracted with another truck company to move cars around. Your vehicle still doesn't show up in the Jack Cooper tracker, so either the database isn't updated for online use until later or they're not the ones scanning your car.

I wouldn't be surprised if they needed to call in another contractor.

It looks like the Kansas City Southern railroad will not let people track their railcars without an account and one probably cannot get an account without a legitimate business connection.
I would obsessively check palsapp for the next couple days. I don't recommend that anyone else do that, that's just what I would do.

Just call them like we did. Try not to bug them more than a couple times per week, we don’t want to create a flood of calls for them. Recognize they have staffing issues and might not know exactly where the car is from day to day without a lot of digging and checking sometimes. Freight tracking is a lot different than parcel tracking and may only update every few days or only once a car arrives at a depot.

Isn’t that when they’ve paired up cargo with a trucker? Perhaps between trains or to dealer?

That is my understanding. Then it gets dispatched, then delivered. Mine was dispatched today! Yay! Hoping I can pick it up on Friday. It should be a 3 hour tour to the dealer. I’m not naming it The Minnow.

Like @Craigeddy111 , I finally saw the "Delivered" notice on the ordertrack. Vehicle is officially in KC...what a feeling.

The wait continues, but with a (slight) bit of optimism.

Great to see so many positive updates today!

I am happy to report as well that my car has also made it to Internati, MO at 5:30 tonight-local time.

Inch by inch…but at least it is moving again. If it does not get hung up, it actually could still possibly make it in the scheduled delivery window!

I hope everyone from the 1/10 group is finally seeing movement!

Apparently my salesperson took a photo of the VVR and texted it to me showing it last known in Blount Island .. shows "pending update" .. so I replied that it'd probably be another week or 2 .. and her response was "I'm hoping it's in Miami and hasn't updated" ... She wants to see the ice white as much as I do.. .. and I'm getting annoyed cause they've gotten 3 Mach-E's delivered in the past week ALL ordered after mine

I'm thinking about getting a magic 8 ball after work .. it'll have a better idea of when my car is finally gonna appear..
