Just got notified of my 5/16 build week! Stepping up from a 2021 Premium AWD, Carbonized Gray to a GT Space White. Ordered on 1/28 and have a VIN but no window sticker yet.

I got an email with a VIN # today and in the email it says build week 5/16, but now my online account says 5/23…. Never ending confusion with this process ? has anyone found ways to extrapolate any info from the VIN # or is it mostly just for reference?

Both of those exact same things happened to me today. It sure leaves the impression Ford's left hand and right hand aren't attached to the same blue oval. It is just coincidental that we're both in AZ, isn't it?

I'm confused like you Arizonans. I'm in Southern California, ordered 12/19/21, and this is the second production email I've received. Like you guys likely do, I think the folks at Ford really need to get their communication shit together.

I'm actually experiencing the reverse. Originally showed 5/23 on the website, then got an email with 5/16 and now the website also shows 5/16. I'd love to get in the week earlier but the moving target is kind of confusing!

To increase the confusion, I got the confirming email today as well, which says 5/16/22 build, my original date, and my Ford.com order status page still says 5/16/22, no change.

Well now I feel like an a**hole and an impatient one at that. I bought a cancelled order off a lot 2 months ago. I got notice yesterday that my online order was scheduled for 5/16 production. I also have a dealer order that I placed before the online order. (I placed the online one because I wasn’t getting great communication from st dealer and I hated that i couldn’t see anything. Not that there was anything to see.)

I just called ford about my dealer order and it’s scheduled for 5/16 too!

Now I feel like an impatient a**hole.

You should look at the bright side - your dealer will sell any orders you back away from. This will make the dealer and buyer(s) happy.

Well, my build date moved from 05/09 to 05/16 today and, within few hours. Also, Arizonan here.
