Mine arrived at dealership yesterday. Nothing on Palsapp. Nothing in United roads. I made him take pictures. But of course I am out of town and the dealer is questioning everything. Price protection. To prove I am a retired ibmer Eligble for x. Going to be interesting since I am out of town. I know the new CEO of IBM. Should I have him write a letter or is my pension letter good enough. Stress. But almost there

You don't need any letters. You need to obtain a PIN from IBM and give that to the dealer. That's it. They should give you access to a portal where you sign in and get a PIN.

but you also need the card and the dealership may not honor it unless your card is valid for 90 days. And they have to take X-Plan.

You don’t need the card, there are other accepted options listed in the PIN email.

Sounds like his dealership may not honor his current approach, so it’s worth a try. I’m just trying to help this guy get X-Plan.

Agree...and appreciate that...Just pointing out it may be an issue if the dealership is being difficult.

My dealer told me yesterday he delivered 3 this week.. isn’t that like kicking a man when he’s down.

I had to show my pension letter and the help desk from partner program said so in an email to me. What happens in 10 years or less when there are no pensions to those who retire

When I was in the dealer picking up my 2021, I had them look up the 2022. It's in Laredo, still saying 4/28 - 5/4, even with a train ride and a car transport ride ahead.
