His post mentions it's a screenshot of the facts related to Bronco price protection. He's just pointing out that Ford was much more public about that price protection, even putting it front and center on their website.
Thanks for clarifying. @Ford Motor Company were so transparent about bronco but not a single word publicly about MME.

Ahh... sorry to burst your bubble. There was a new price increase this month.

Oops... nevermind. Looks like the April 13 increase had been suspended!

Yeah, that was trigger for getting me started looking at all the negative price protection threads!!! Now I can rest easy and focus on making sure X-Plan, Ford Options incentives get honored, no extra fees... etc...

I know it is not true. I just can't find someone at Ford to tell the dealer this.. they have heard this from their own rep and are taking it as the final word.

I have now spoken with Ford Markering 4x, Surge Team 2x, finance 2x (which is always FMC and only interested in current accounts), and now transferred back to Marketing. I need someone @Ford Motor Company who understands the Ford Options program. Exhausting!
@Ford Motor Company
Still no resolution. Sent a letter to Ford with screenshots and backup docs. Tried to email but that is not a customer service option. So also reached out via Facebook, cut and pasting the letter.

Facebook CS agent was no help. Kept insisting it was a dealer problem. I pointed out that the email came directly from Ford so was a corporate offer.

Dealer refuses to address the matter further since Dealer Services declined the Private Offer.

Everyone wants to pass the buck and no one wants to take responsibility.

I ordered in June 2021, if I choose Ford Options what should I expect, Car is in and I even have it since last night, still trying to figure out financing dealer had no idea. They are saying no rebate if I use Ford Options, only 500 incentive. Shouldn't I be receiving the price protection plus the 500?

you should get:
the October 2021 price
750 for changing from a 2021 to 2022 order
Options bonus when you ordered which was probably $1000 (not 500) for you.

I wonder where if anywhere that is documented? Where/how can I send dealer to. Is that the Vincent report?

The dealership received a letter regarding the price protection. It's posted on the site.

The $750 incentive was emailed to you, and is in Vincent. That program number is also listed here somewhere.

You can choose the incentives at time of order or purchase, which includes Ford Options, and the rebate. However, the interest rate on Ford Options, just like with other Ford Financing (except promotional financing), may be increased by the dealer.

that's a sweet deal. X-Plan+Price Protection.
Why is that a "sweet deal"? Price protection is just giving you the price that the car was at when the order was placed. And X plan is X plan and it has nothing to do with price protection. My dealer literally tried to pull something with me where he said there was no price protection, but because I was X plan I was "still getting a good deal." No, no, no. The 2 things are completely separate and having nothing to do with one another.

Thanks guys, just wish I wasn't this dealer first Ford Options plan. Hopefully they will try to get it correct without any additional stress.

Here is my experience. The Florida Ford Options is currently $500. Ford finance at the dealer will not allow both the Options incentive and the $750 private offer - I verified myself with dealer services that this is a written policy... which of course is a crappy way to do business. However, when your car comes in, you should see a "Complete Your Purchase" button on your tracker - the final phase. From here, you can apply for Ford Options financing, play around with down payments, trade in, and terms. This online process WILL allow both the $500 and $750 (it will show under "other incentives" button.). You should also get the best available rate - 1.4% for GT 2.49% for others. And, you can enter your x-plan pin here as well. The only thing the system doesn't calculate correctly is sales tax. Take it as far as you can before going to the dealer then get them to fix the taxes. They will also have to do the price protection manually at the dealer. Online uses current invoice.

Hopefully, they will not still try to add $3000 in BS fees like mine did.

Bought my car on Monday and I got the $1000 Options cash (protection date value) and the $750 rebate together, no problems. I also got the protected APR value (2.70%). Completing purchase online also confirmed allowing both to be stacked.

Cos my dealer wasn’t willing to take both X plan and PP. We were at a stalemate for 2 days and I folded early. Your dealer is probably one of the good ones (except the good deal discussion I suppose) who agreed to honor both.

Just completed delivery of my 2022 GT. Turns out, the $750 "2021-2022 model year satisfaction private offer" rebate does not apply if you take the Ford Options plan.

I know, you will immediately argue with me and I hope you prove me wrong, but, the finance manager got Ford Dealer Services on the phone with me and they indeed confirmed:

  1. You CAN receive the rebate with a cash purchase.
  2. You CAN receive the rebate with a traditional financed purchase.
  3. You CAN receive the rebate with a Flex Buy purchase.
  4. You CAN receive the rebate with a lease purchase.
  5. You CANNOT receive the rebate with a Ford Options purchase.
Of course this does not make any sense since Options is a hybrid of the above. Therefore, being Options is only available on Mach-e, my theory is that Ford probably has just not made the connections in the dealer system.

Other notes:
1. When I chose "compete your purchase" online, it did allow the rebate AND Options, but no price protection.
2. Finance manager showed me in their system that it worked with all other forms of payment.
3. Finance manager mentioned that Options was not part of their regular financing software and he had to prepare the docs online thru Ford.

@Ford Motor Company - please let us - and the dealers - know how to do this.
Final word: NO!
District Manager went to bat for me, several levels up. Even provided screenshots of the offer email, the online financing that allowed the offer to be stacked, etc.

@FordMotorCompany refused to allow the offer with Mach-e Options financing.

I know in the end, this is a Ford systems mistake since so many others have been able to do this, and I was able to get it online. (Just not in person). No longer worth the $750 of my time to pursue, but definitely leaves a bad taste with my Ford experience.

Hope the rest if you do not run into this.
