Just to add my two cents - our 4 year olds LOVE the glass roof. When we let them have their tablets in the car (admittedly rare), they never complain about not being able to see them. I do, however, get VERY regular updates about the position of the sun and the moon - and very loud updates when the moon is visible in a sunny sky. We are very happy with the roof in its factory delivered condition. ?Thanks @ripperAZ and @RickMachE,
I'll wait until I get some feedback from the kids.
I don't think it bothers me in the front, but I could see how it could affect those in the back.
We'll see If I do need one, then that Blazeray one seems well made.
Thanks!

Haha, the first ride my boys took in it wewent to getdid donuts, and 1 wanteda powdered donutme to lay down rubber, I was like no, please, not when the car is hours old...So theygot sprinklescalled me a wussie, much easier to vaccumeand told my wife when we got home.
Ha funny, I first read it as doing donuts as well, then wondered what doing a 'powdered' donut was? The sprinkles finally made me read the first sentence again!Fixed it for you. ?
I'll private message you the details. Thanks for sharing your story, super helpful information to have when I go in to face the dealer in (hopefully) a couple of months.
Out of curiosity what dealership did you go to?
They're Dionos.![]()
Nice looking red CA Rt. 1, got a star white one myself. What booster seats are you using? I can't read the model name at the bottom. My daughter's Britax Marathon is very wide and I think she's about ready for a booster with back, it will help to have a narrower seat if anyone ever has to sit in the back between the two kids seats.
Thank you!! My wife had mentioned the Diono, I think that's going to be the move. Seems like a great choice. Can't believe it can be rear facing up to 50 lb, my daughter is not even 40lb yet and she is way too tall to be rear facing. 57"/120lbs, some adults could fit in that, ha.They're Dionos.
The orange one is Diono Pacifica, not available anymore, 18" wide.
The bleu/yellow is a Diono Radian 3RX, it's only 17" wide.
They're super heavy though, a lot of steel inside. So if you need to take them in and out a lot, it might not be the best choice.
The good thing is, you can do forward facing with harness up to 65lbs and booster mode up till 120lbs and 57" tall.
For 3 across, it was one of 2 options we had.
I actually just ordered 3 of them since I don't want to move them from car to car. They have a promo, buy 2, get 1 free
If you don't need to upper head support, you can just do the radian 3r.
Yes, these 2 are applied together:
$750 shows up as 2022 Model Year RCL Customer Satisfaction Private Offer
and
$2,000 shows up as Ford Options Retail Bonus Cash
as @HuntingPudel mentions, that's the incentive now based on ZIP code. (not by state)
For the Price Protection, they went with the other option that they're allowed to do:
I have it in writing on the contract that they'll send me the refund once they receive the refund for the price difference between order date and sale date from Ford, which is also $2,000.
Thanks!Congrats on your determination to do all the back and forth/research to get this done for a satisfactory result.
I didn't really know what the incentives for my zip were when I ordered back in September. So I might still have left $500 and a slightly lower rate on the table. My rate is 2.74%.For the Options incentive, was it not possible to get $2,500 from time of order vs. current terms or everyone is now forced to use $2,000 max? I hear people getting a 2.7% rate now from when 2021 > 2022 vs. 2.49% earlier for non-GT orders.
For the Ford Options incentive now, based on your zip code, you can get either $500 or $2,000.I have also read that some folks did get $2,500 (or was $2,000 your incentive based on your zip code already)?
It is SUCH. Hassle the dealership part .. mainly because they are seeming kinda bitter about the ordering process vs them being able to be in control .. it’s a ride you have to watch every little thing..Beautiful Car, congratulations! I will be going through the same thing when my CaRt1 drops. I have a question for you. I ordered my car on 12/3/21, not long after you and never got an order sheet til March 2022, when I asked why I did not get one on 12/3, I was told that the guy in charge of that, "is no longer with Ford". So on my print of the order sheet, is shows the new price, which is $2000 more than that car was on order date and a "price level" of 220 and wonder if I may have been a 215, because my order date was 5 days before the effective date of 12/5. How was "price level" explained to you? I believe that OCT 21 orders got the cash offer of $750 to help cover costs because you were converted to a 22 model year; was there any price increase for you, other than the 12/8 $2000? My dealer is real shifty, saying that PP is the $750, and I don't qualify for it, because my order was never converted and quickly changes the subject when I bring up the $2000. I haven't shared YET, that I have that 12/3 memo from Ford and a copy of the letter that you got, mentioning the $750.... I did ask if I could get an order sheet, back dated to 12/3 and he sheepishly said, yes. I am thinking that this might be another tool for my tool box, as I help them, help me.
Well, they deserve everything that's coming their way. I finally goyt them to honor the PP, so I got my car for the price on the day I ordered... NOW, they're telling me that my deposit will come from Ford, directly... I called Ford and they said look at my credit card statement and it will show my dealership, they have your money... I wonder how much these thieves get to keep that should be returned to buyers; talk about fraud. It is SUCH. It’s really insane in fact I am just now going thru and locking my credit accounts as I see they have been pulling my credit a few times a a day from Friday sept 9 thru Monday ..Well, they deserve everything that's coming their way. Hi - I am in a similar boat and didnt get an order sheet sent to me on the day of my order (12/6/21). Am I understanding you correctly that in March of '22 your dealer was able to provide you with an order summary as at the actual date of your 12/3 order (which presumably had the 12/3, price-protected price on it)?Beautiful Car, congratulations!
