Question Selling to Carvana Check/Electronic deposit?

I am considering selling to Carvana, just wanted to get them out and see if their on-line offer is really what they will pay.

Based on everyone's experience did you request an electronic deposit or a check handed to you at the time of picking up the car?

I requested a check. They bring the check. The night prior I got them to up the offer. So, the check was too little. They did an ACH the same day, got it the next morning.

I was wondering about a check, they leave with your car, title etc and you have a check that you hope is good. I guess I am over thinking this.

If you do ACH, they also leave and you don’t get the funds until the next day...

If check bounced, that would be fraud. And a felony.

It’s a painless process and they come with check in hand. I sold them my first. Sold my second via auto trader and got 3k more. That required an escrow account and 7 day wait to transfer the vehicle as it was an out of state buyer who used an inspection service to vet the pony The fact I made great $$ is why I have 2 more allegedly on order.
It’s a crazy market place unlike I’ve ever seen in 50 years and now is the time to use your credit to keep multiple cars on deck and make some money if you want to and find that process fun…. I do

1) I am good at it.

2) Checked price with them evening before, came up like $850 higher. Texted them to ask if they would match it, they said yes.

Sold two cars to Carvana and ACH both times. No problems.

CarMax was low. $9500.
Driveway was highest. $11,439

alexgorod, I am not sure of the answer to the question. My Carvana offer went up in the last 2 weeks, so go figure.
