Yes. I feel that something is wrong but I can't get anyone at Ford to really look into it. Makes me feel very vulnerable doing business with this company. I'm calling Tesla today to get an alternative car on the backburner. This is really frustrating.

There seem to be so many factors and none of it makes too much sense. My car was on the same train and arrived at the final train depot at the same time as @strangeengine . He now has his car and my dealer doesnt expect mine this week or next really. Our dealers are equidistant to the final train depot ( 75 miles ).

If your car is on the lot, they will get the recall update installed soon. It only takes 30 mins. You should call and ask to talk to the sales manager and ask that your MME's recall update be installed so you can come pick up your car. Tell him that you know Ford released the recall update to the dealers. Most of us are getting our cars within a day of speaking with the dealer. The dealer wants to get your car sold to make its money so they have incentive to get it updated and off their lot/books.

Thank you, but it makes you wander. I had to tell the dealer rep the car was there than ask if it was on recall than tell him to check with service about the fix. Yes he did all above after I told him too, car will be ready tomorrow, I hope. My reservation on the 150 lighting will be dropped or sent to a different dealer. Yes I am retired Ford 36 years. I remember when the big three tried to drop dealers and sell direct, Tesla does not have this problem as a new company, the dealer council , i think , took them to court or at least threatened and all was dropped. Yes , he says he knows all about Ford Price Protection. Would you believe him? I will be prepared...
