What an awesome dealer, congrats! I've been on the hunt for one myself the last few weeks.

Driveway offered me $58K ($1K less than MSRP) on my three week old fully loaded Cyber Orange Premium AWD ER (less than 1K miles) but paid a friend $59K a month ago for a Premium RWD ER with 22K miles. Dealer has agreed to MSRP as the trade in value when I pick up my ordered GTPE this weekend so that’s a better deal because of the tax savings.

FYI Driveway tried to resell my friend’s MME for $62K at first but dropped it to $59K and it still has not sold.

I think considering the offers I have for my other cars - that dropped significantly in the past two months - there is definitely softening.
This is my observation as well. I have been following this closely the last 3 months and offers peaked about 3-4 weeks ago. I'm trading in my Select AWD for a GT tomorrow and getting just a bit over MSRP for it.

I'm addicted to orange apparently

Thanks everyone for the input. The car is amazing!

I only charged my Premium to 80% daily, but with performance dropping off below 70% (as I understand it), I'm upping the daily charge to 85%. What's everyone else doing?

So it was this, but I felt I was potentially offending people, so I buckled and changed it. Was getting ready to change it back, but I need to do something new now with the GT ?

I'm thinking this is a clever way of keeping the wife from driving your car. Mine wouldn't be seen driving anything with fat or XXL on the plate. :)

Dealer is going to give me more than what I paid for my 21 4X Premium on a 2022 GT/PE.

Plus I can still get the government rebate if I do it now.

Thoughts? Am I crazy for doing this now?

Edit - Dealer is giving me about $2k less than what I paid for it. I had the numbers wrong in my head.
New GT looks awesome! Do you mind sharing the dealer or sending it to me in PM? I have been scouring Ohio for an honest dealer to upgrade my Select to a Premium or GT before the full tax credit ends. It's a crapshoot in Columbus area but the two dealers with stock are adding $10-20k ADM (Byers and Ricart) and not budging.

Normally I charge mine to 90%, but find I only need to charge once every two-three days or so, as I run it down to about 30% in that time in local driving.

How many performance limiting (jail) bars do you see at 30%?

I too have considered trading my 21 Premium for a 22 GT but has anyone verified that the $7500 credit can be used in consecutive years? Can’t seem to find anything on IRS website. I took full advantage of the tax credit last year and it definitely makes trading up easier on the wallet. TIA

Nothing to verify. No question.
