So the text from dealer could potentially be from a previous schedule week. Based on how quiet it is, I don't think the schedule went out yet..... or I Hope LOL
It really seems like no one has been scheduled. This forum popped off last week when the schedule went out. Given how few weeks are left, expecting a decent amount of scheduling today.

Order date 2/6 not yet scheduled as of today. Premium awd ex. (It’s our second mme so I’m used to the wait!)
2/7 for same battery and trim. Nothing here either.

Soooo….what you’re saying is……

the “Cleanup Scheduling” was scheduling for them to “cleanup” the factory???
Sweep, mop, scrub the bowls, clean the windows, throw out all the old moldy food in the kitchen…. You know. Cleaning up.
What we’re YOU thinking???

It's not unusual for Ford to schedule for the same build weeks for several weeks in a row (see 3 weeks in May). Scheduling Thursday 7/28 was readdressing the four weeks of September. The 8/4 scheduling Thursday will do so a third time but call it "cleanup". Folks getting notified of a September build date may be slow in reporting on this forum, particularly if their build date is 7 weeks away. (It's typical of this forum that in batches of 300-900 units, only a handful of folks report their MME events in a "build week" thread. The rest of us live vicariously on their reported events. I did get a September 19 build week notification last week, but I also suspect that shuffling of build dates may yet occur.)

In the link that you provided, your comment says that 2023 ordering opens on 25 Aug 2022. Not sure where that is, but in the States it opens 15 Aug 2022.

I’d be curious to know how anyone knows that next week will be Cleanup.
This week was termed “Cleanup” as well.
Must have been an exceedingly small cleanup as we didn’t see anyone here post that they were scheduled. I understand that the number of people here (this site) compared to the total number of outstanding orders is small. That said, the number of outstanding orders is only dropping, so the relative number of MachEForum.com members that have orders is likely increasing. I‘m not going to say that forum members make up any certain amount of the outstanding orders, but still, I have to think that if they DID do any Cleanup scheduling, maybe it was single to double digits of new builds scheduled…. If any.

Maybe Cleanup is moving existing orders around. Like grouping all of the cars that are the same color together to make it easier for the paint shop. Who knows?

So, let’s say that next week (Week of Aug 1, Notify on Aug 4) does end up being yet another “Cleanup”…. With seemingly so few, if any, done this week, what’s left to clean up next week. It also begs the question, why can‘t Ford walk and breathe oxygen at the same time. Schedule Cleanup AND schedule October.

I mean, really? They know how many orders are outstanding. They know their own plant schedule. Manufacturers are now publicizing that they’re stockpiling 3 months of parts for manufacturing to prevent shutdowns when other supply chain issues come up, so they know what parts they have.

This screams of the dumbest combination of 7 words in the English language:

Why schedule like that?
”Because we‘ve always done it that way.“

That phrase is the enemy of innovation and progress. If there is a real, legitimate answer, great, but there’s no answer to the question in that sentence. It‘s a lazy, disinterested, “your not worth a real answer” response.

Yeah.
I’m a little frustrated.
- No build date
- Taxes credit watch
- What I can get when I sell my old car seems to be dropping……

Mach-E ordering is not for the faint of heart.

Thanks for bothering to read my comments. I waited 226 days to be told my ordered MME had been scheduled. The scheduled build date was 60 days after the scheduling date (build date would be 41 weeks after ordering). Even if built "on schedule", its delivery ETA is around 1 November 2022, about eleven months after ordering. This punishing delay in my order is, apparently, due to my having ordered a Premium AWD ER red and/or arbitrarily chosen a dealer that is "low volume".
Much of my first 3 months of waiting was searching this forum for actual facts/data and insight to Ford's scheduling and allocation algorithms. Failing in that, I passed through the grumpy phase, feeling cheated by Ford's apparent indifference to and poor communication with the hopeful end user. (I bought a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ltd that I'm very happy with and will keep. Fate of MMY order will be decided whenever I get it. Less grumpy since.) Now, I feel like many of the really knowledgeable people who are persistently helpful are dropping off the forum as they receive their long-waited MME. I try to be accurate and helpful with repeatedly answering the same questions. The forum Admin is source of Scheduling Thursday, and sometime other Ford news. A few forum users are wired-in to Ford and share some "insider" information. One of them is a user of Forums - Blue Oval Forums . This is the source of the "adjusted" opening date, 25 Aug 2022 for the 2023MY MME, etc. Feel free to gather your own facts. The meaning of Ford's "cleanup" has been questioned and discussed at least three different time in the past 7 months. I think only Ford knows. If you haven't already, check out the "grumpy" thread. I'll stick it out for another few months but I'm trying to emphasize the Cuautitlan's performance as it relates to finishing out the 2022MY production. (I'm actually hoping my order is NOT converted to 2023MY and delivered in January 2023, although maybe it would be good to get a new 2023MY MME for the price of a year before.)

I appreciate your journey.
I’m probably mirroring what you went through. I’m a data and pattern junky and have been trying to rationalize Ford’s methods just as you did.
I too am in the grumpy phase, but primarily due to nervousness about the tax credit (I know about the new one, but not banking what’s not real), the value of the car I’m replacing, questions on whether I’d have any price protection if I got rolled over to a ‘23 (there’s no guarantee), etc.

I’ve been a car but for 35+ years. Not in passing. Really studying.
I’ve been in the financial field for 20+ years (sold my practice). I’ve studied these companies from the inside out.
My career is now in enterprise software systems design and integration.
I study engineering and physics as a bit of a hobby.

So, while I probably haven’t read the volumes of threads on this board and others that many here have, I am reading a lot. I don’t know every thread or where every comment is on every subject, but hopefully that is acceptable for the members here. Goodness knows that sometimes it feels like responses mandate that everyone must have read everything that everyone else has.

I do have this weird mix of knowledge and skills that make up my takes on things, including this whole order process for my mid-life crisis Mach-E.

All of that said, I absolutely identify with your experience.

If I could go back in time I would have ordered 2 months earlier and placed 2 orders with different dealers for different trims. Probably would have had my MME already, but I guess I am not that good at predicting the future.

The qualified plug-in electric drive motor vehicle credit phases out for a manufacturer’s vehicles over the one-year period beginning with the second calendar quarter after the calendar quarter in which at least 200,000 qualifying vehicles manufactured by that manufacturer have been sold for use in the United States.
There is no way ford can reach that number even after they start delivering f150 lightning.

Ordered ice white Premium with light interior RWD standard range 02/10/22 and no production date yet. Anyone close to my date that ordered a similar trim that got a date these past two weeks?
I ordered a Premium AWD on January 14 and haven’t had so much as an email from Ford. Safe to say we will either be paying a hefty price for a 2023 or won’t be getting one at all. I won’t be getting one at all if that’s the case. Wait 7 months just to get screwed out of the tax credit and get price increase? No thanks.
