Ya know....Ford can't get enough Mach-Es and Lightnings to customers now. So to me, this whole deal with Autonomy is only going to cut into retail sales even more.

We're already waiting nearly a half-year in most cases for a Mach-E or Lightning (if you can even get a seat at the table for one), and don't even mention Broncos.

At some point in my life I would consider this when I have enough income to completely waste it on cars without the hassle of leasing and trading. Unfortunately I bet this will mostly be people in their early 20s without any savings or credit history.

Yep. It actually works out a little cheaper than using a major rental like hertz which we considered. We were doing a three month post. Pandemic nationwide road trip and wanted to try out the model Y after owning an electric pony. It was capable, but Spartan and I wouldn’t consider their product again, but it was one way to convince myself. While I wait for my next pony, I’m searching for an ionic five and that’s a pretty much impossible search right now.
