“Private offer” anyone?

offer still is not out but the way it was worded to me from my dealer sounded like the private incentive is the difference between base price of the 22 and base price of the 23 and not options chosen. So I'm expecting the increase in battery pricing as well as transportation etc.. are not going to be in the offer.

I said the same to Ford just now. I'm furious. This makes no sense and I don't understand the justification. The person from Ford marketing was trying to tell me it's the same car, just "updated" for 2023.

I have the same thing. I just got off the phone with Ford and they didn't have any details. They told me to discuss this with my dealership. These are not comparable cars.

Yea I am kinda pissed, why does it have to come from the dealer as the MFG you should put out these announcements, thank god for this forum else everyone will be in the dark.

Since one of my cars is the select T/C I am getting a base model with extra fees instead of price protection

Premium base price is for 22MY was $49100, for 23MY shows $54975. (price difference is $5875). They battery is listed separately in the options part.

Ford will not disclose the details because the folks who get Scott tissue will complain they wanted Puffs.

It seems anyone with options added to the car got screwed since the cost of options is added to your price if the options are no longer available. PP only protects the MSRP price, looking at my GT Order the roof /copilot which come standard is still being charged.

But seriously anyone with a base order with no options? can you post your 2023 rollover price? I am curious to see if they PP you and you are paying base for the new 2023 features at no additional cost. If so then anyone who picked any packages got screwed, especially the selects.

Ford.com shows my order has been converted to MY23. My order was for a Premium AWD with ER battery. Order shows base MSRP at MY22 price, but ER battery option is at MY23 price, about a $2K uplift on overall price. Have not received any other info directly from Ford or my dealer.

Update: The sales manager at my dealer called this morning to finish converting my order to MY23, including updating priority to level 10. When this happens prices adjust to MY23 level. They are telling all their customers with MY23 order conversions the following:

Ford has informed us that your Mustang Mach-E order is going to be converted to a 2023 model year. Ford has stated that every effort will be made to prioritize your order once it is converted. Ford has also told us the following:

Any current 22MY Mustang Mach-E retail customer order that is converted to a 23MY order via MYCO process will be eligible for a 23MY Mustang Mach-E Transition Private Offer, which is intended to offset 23MY MSRP price changes.

The sales manager told me they expect Ford's rebate to completely offset the price increase, but they have not seen Ford's rebate offers yet.

The logic doesn't make sense - penalizing people who spent more on options. This can't be what Ford intended, right?

They have not set out the offers yet. The 2022 orders just refreshed to 2023s. Then the new pricing will show up in the account. Then, the private offer will be sent, which should be $3k-5k depending on the model. This is what my dealer said
