It’s been……. A day.

I know we live in Amazon prime immediate delivery world now……. But give them time.

What’s the rush exactly? It’s August and none of these converted orders will be delivered until 2023. You have PLENTY of time to digest the info and make a decision. All the way until the car gets delivered and even then you can change your mind.

I just don’t think it’s worth getting upset……….yet.

Once we have all the info and the situation sucks…. Yeah then it’s anger time!

My gut says “Ford will make it right” when it comes to price and options. They made it right when this exact same thing happened last year. They even cut off new orders months ago to try to prevent as many year conversions. Obviously didn’t work. Try again next year!
The rush is that I don't have a car currently. My lease expired last week and I stupidly thought Ford would deliver with 1-2 months of slack time. I now have to live in Los Angeles without a car and take 1 and a half hour bus rides to work when it is only a 20 minute drive to the office.

I hope your gut is right. However I also think that it would have been easy for Ford to determine what they wanted to do two months ago. The orders have been frozen since April. This isn't rocket science. Ford must of had a good picture of things in June/July.

All I want is the car I paid for, for the price I paid for it, and to know that my place in line is respected. I'm not bitching about wanting it now. I just want clear information.

Been following the forums since I ordered in April first post. My order is also getting converted according to the online status. Talked to my dealer to day has no idea it was convert. Really doesn’t know anything. Of course I’m the only mache order they have. I have already ordered a 23 vw id4 (built in Chattanooga) as well. Maybe one will come before 2023 arrives to get the tax credit.

Supposedly, all vehicles were supposed to get placed into hold (99) until you accept the change, then it would go back to it's place in line (01/10/19 etc...). It seems though that many orders were just sent through without approval. (ADM's for Dealers after you don't accept it). If you make a change like to another model, it's a new order and you get back in line from day 1.
Which is exactly why it is so frustrating to sit here and wait. What is this “private offer”? Is it some big secret? Just feel like we should know that before the orders open to make a good decision. Yet too late now. I can see just not caring if I’m not ordering the car and walking away. But if I want a different model, willing to pay the up charge, the longer we sit here the further back in the cue we go as orders accumulate. So yes, back of the line, and that line is only getting longer.

I find my whole experience with Ford and the dealership demeaning. This is the first time I've ever bought a Ford. My first two cars were BMWs (2017 i3 & 2019 i3) and I got much better service.

It feels like Ford (and the dealership) is taking me for granted. This is the worst service I've ever gotten trying to spend 50k on something before. @Ford Motor Company - you are not doing me a charity!

I went to the dealership yesterday and the employees were extremely rude (so much so that the manager oversaw and made them apologize to me). This may be my last Ford car.

I'm now at 7 months and I'm code 10 so would hope it's soon. But that's cutting it close to end of Dec delivery if they scheduled me in the beginning of the 23's for Nov.

Unfortunately I doubt very few if any MY 23 vehicles will be delivered this year. Even if production starts Nov 1 it takes around two weeks to be built and shipped from Mexico in the best of cases. Then at least around 30 days to arrive at the dealer. Mine took 66 days to ship. I wish you the best of luck though!

Finally I got an email

Any current 22MY Mustang Mach-E retail customer order that is converted to a 23MY order via MYCO process will be eligible for a 23MY Mustang Mach-E Transition Private Offer, which is intended to offset 23MY MSRP price changes.

We are reaching out as we need to confirm whether you would like to make any changes to your order at this time. The notable changes for 2023 are as follows:
  1. Select comes with Active 2.0 standard (BlueCruise, 360 camera, Evasive Steering, Intersection Assist). A fee is required for continued use after a 90 day trial for BlueCruise and the 360 camera, unless full activation is selected at the time of ordering. Full activation costs $1,900 and includes a three-year connected service plan after which purchase is required. The Select does not come with or have as an option heated seats, a heating steering wheel, a power liftgate, power mirrors, a power passenger seat, and a cargo area cover.
  2. Route 1 only comes in AWD.
  3. GT/GT Performance now include Active 2.0 and the glass roof standard. There are now no options on the Premium or GT aside from the interior protection package and the Mustang Nite Pony Package (only on Premium extended or GT Performance Edition).
  4. Colors added: Carbonized Gray, Vapor Blue Metallic
  5. Colors deleted: Dark Matter Gray, Iced Blue Silver Metallic
  6. There is no longer an option for summer tires on the Premium or the Aero cover wheels on the Select.
  7. Dealer Installed Options include a wheel lock kit, exterior bumper protector, roadside assistance kit, and first aid kit.
  8. EPA estimated range on Premium AWD is now 290.
You can configure your 2023 Mach-E here: https://www.ford.com/buy/mach-e/build-and-price.html#/model.

Please note, while you will retain priority when switching to a 2023 model, you may delay delivery if you switch your model type (i.e. go from Select to Premium).

selects with tech/comfort should have a shot at being upgraded to standard prem’s. Taking away features is a bad look
This will almost certainly not be happening.

I imagine it’ll be one of two things. Either like a $500 to $1k credit for the removal of the package, or $1k off a premium should you decide to upgrade.

Absolutely no way that they give a $9k upgrade for free just because the memory, heated seats, and power liftgate option have been removed from the selects.

It's more like a $1200 upgrade since the MSRP of a select with the tech and comfort was 48k

I checked my priority code yesterday and it was 99 but today when I called the dealer, he informed me that I have been moved to 1. Looks like Ford is still scheduling orders for 22

Seems like it would be silly to convert anything until the private offer is out, especially if we are allowed to convert to a prem

This part is great. 18-24 weeks and Potential $7500 Tax Credit. Doubtful either will happen by the time you get it. Technically 8 of those weeks they are not even running the 23MY lines!
