I ordered a SELECT / AWD with a Metallic Vapor Blue exterior. Interestingly, I noticed that the batteries are Li-ion. I thought the 2033’s were supposed to be Li-Iron-Phosphate. Are Ford’s Li-Ion batteries domestic or Chinese?

Ford never said the coming LFP batteries would be going in the 2023 models. The current cells are made in Poland. The battery pack final assembly happens in Mexico.

On the ordering page it says that 2023 model is eligible for $7500 rebate. These orders will be delivered in 2023 and I thought the rebate will go away in 2023 because of battery restrictions. Does anyone having more info on this ?

Nobody knows if it will qualify or not, including Ford. The component and mineral requirements are waiting on secretary guidance which has no deadline. So there is a potential $7500 credit, which is exactly how it’s worded on the ordering page.

Ordered another GT to replace the 22 GT if the 22's value stay up when it comes in. If not then I will not take it. My dealer doesn't require a deposit or add adm fees. So why not roll the dice.

Did they get rid of the Ice White package for 2023? That lasted all of 1 year.

For the ones who have ordered, how many of you opt for the bigger battery pack? We are thinking of ordering a Premium AWD. The difference between standard and extended battery is almost 10k.

I don't know if this works for Mach E, but for the new (at the time) 2021 F150's some of our dealers would put a matching dealer stock order just like our retail order. That way if the dealer stock gets built and shows up first we can get that at the price we negotiated instead.

Did anyone try this? I know it is a different market now with so much ADM on dealer inventory, but it should be a wash to them because you abandoning the retail order just becomes their dealer stock anyway.

(I think dealer stock orders lead retail orders by a few weeks so dealers can have some in their showrooms)
