I hope this works out for you as it does seem like a good approach. However, the statement from Ford specifically states to not re-order a vehicle if you had a conversion to the 23 MY. From reading they converted and changed to a priority code 99. They did this at one point earlier this year when the eliminated park assist. The 99 code allowed a customer to confirm or cancel the order. I would be a bit worried about the Private Offer process because your dealer initiated a new order. Your old order will still be in the system unless cancelled. I hope Ford does just give a rebate and allow a customer to order whatever model they want to apply the rebate to.3
My dealer let me change to a premium and said I'd still get the special offer (select c/t) . You should emphasize that you would otherwise be losing features that you consider must haves.
