“Private offer” anyone?

My dealer let me change to a premium and said I'd still get the special offer (select c/t) . You should emphasize that you would otherwise be losing features that you consider must haves.
I hope this works out for you as it does seem like a good approach. However, the statement from Ford specifically states to not re-order a vehicle if you had a conversion to the 23 MY. From reading they converted and changed to a priority code 99. They did this at one point earlier this year when the eliminated park assist. The 99 code allowed a customer to confirm or cancel the order. I would be a bit worried about the Private Offer process because your dealer initiated a new order. Your old order will still be in the system unless cancelled. I hope Ford does just give a rebate and allow a customer to order whatever model they want to apply the rebate to.

It's late Oct for offers. Do your research and contact your dealer. This info was transferred to dealers just recently.
I thought the communication said once MY22 orders were balanced that the offer was coming out. How did we find out that October is when that is happening? I'm trying to do lots of research and talking to my dealer, but it seems like very conflicting information is coming out, almost all of which hasn't been confirmed by Ford.

Went into my dealer today. I signed that I was paying the same amount as my select previously however now I do not have the comfort package but that an rebate or incentive is coming to make up for it. When I asked about upgrading to a premium I was told it is a different model number and wouldn’t be connected to my original order anymore and therefore wouldn’t get the incentive or priority build time

Just some additional details. The paperwork my dealer had me sign for the model change had the same deal # as my old paperwork. The ford.com order status has updated to show a 2023 premium but still shows my order date as March of this year. I am hazarding a guess but I think my dealer did things the right way. They said the special offer would come later as a blanket rebate.

Being able to select a prem would be the right thing to do by ford. Tesla allows you to switch trims and keep old price. If they want to take ordering online then they need to at least match the competition that started it

Ford communicated this info with the dealer. Private offers will be sent out in late October and adjusted to the purchase agreement at that time. You can decide at that time to accept or cancel the offer.

My 2/16 Premium AWD order has been converted to 2023 without a price change in the portal as well. I contacted my dealer in SoCal, they said Ford is not doing price protection and told me I can cancel my order for a full refund. I believe they are convincing people to cancel the order so that they can sell the vehicle with high ADM.

I got a '2023 Mustang Mach-E Premium Order Confirmation' from Ford without any private offer. Hope they send something soon.
Which dealership is this? Galpin motors? They are trying to get me to cancel as well.

Same here - my ordered MME dealer wants me to put in a brand new order and forget about the 2022 order.

Maybe they want my 2022 order allocation to mark up and resell ???

My dealer said that Ford has not communicated with them about my order. Because I placed my order through Ford and not through them initially that they are slightly different. They said they were hesitant to adjust my order because they didn't want to mess it up. They said in the past, they could move from things like select to premium and not get bumped on when the vehicle was going to be made but didn't want to mess me up until they knew the correct way to do it. They said if I heard anything directly from Ford to pass it on to them. I guess I need to reach out to Ford direct so I can give my dealer guidance.

Same here - my ordered MME dealer wants me to put in a brand new order and forget about the 2022 order.

Best guess....A signed for customer ordered vehicle that you cancel goes to the dealer. it would explain some double orders out there since priority goes to customer then dealer with ordering code of 10-19 vs 20. if another order is created, ADM.....! might be an issue Ford directly needs to explore.

My dealer was able to put it with the same sales number I had. No need to cancel the order

That sounds like a good dealer props on them for not potentially screwing you up

You should add consulting fees to your dealer.

That is very good to hear as I am very confused with my 22 order being pushed into a 23 and the pricing w/ options has not been updated.

Color changed from ice blue silver to some yucky blue....

Loss of price protection for incentives and low APR really burns me up!

Stupid question on my part, but what site is this to check the order? I can only find links to the Ford tracking page that requires a VIN, which would only get assigned once the car is built.
