Just saw this on Mavericktruckclub.com.

I know CEO Farley has said MachE production is increasing for MY2023, yet given the number of MY22 orders that haven’t made it into production and the demand from this year’s order bank opening, could we see a situation similar to MY2022 where orders on some trims (eg. less profitable Premium and CA RT1) end earlier OR are suspended until the new LFP battery supply is available later in the model year?

Personally, these are my thoughts

If the price hadn't been increased by Ford on the 23s I think we would be in the same boat as the Maverick, but since it increased by a good amount it's not going to close.

Paying for a EV or any ICE car over $45k puts a good amount of people in this Country out of the race to get a Mach E... I mean mine with taxes/fees and a employee discount came out to be $63k that is the most expensive car I EVER bought... My 21 Tesla Model 3 LR cost out the door $55k

So yea I'd be really shocked if they were to close them down

I like Farley and think he's doing the right moves, but supply constraints, fighting the old guard and making changes is always hard for any company, let alone an old company.

You're saying he'll be gone by 2023, I say he won't so we will see in a year who's right. As a shareholder, you can say I'm putting my $$ where my mouth is as well so I have skin in the game, but similar to Lucid/Rivian actually making cars or even Russia trying to figure out how to fight a war and logistics, dealing with blocking/tackling, basic stuff like building cars and managing a supply chain is very very hard stuff now.

At least their problem isn't no one wanting their stuff and order banks are closing since they can't finish making them currently. Having 36 billion in the bank helps to ride things out as well.
