Email them. That's who is best to help you if you are in EAP
Thanks. Figured they would be since they've been the only ones to fix my issues with FordPass issues in the past.

For reference to anyone - Stay away from the Tronity data service. I saw it referenced somewhere here and figured I'd give it a try to get detailed trip info, bad idea since that coincided with my loss of Ford login access. (It connects in through your Ford login in the cloud.)

Did another call today and tried to start over and see what happens. They ended up giving me a claim # and told me they'll get back to me in 2-3 business days.
Same for me

I finally got it unlocked and back in operation. Just took some time and persistence and calling 3 times.

I've started using a second e-mail address for third party applications. I create a new account using that address through FP and enter my VIN number. It then requests permission from my primary account. I log back into FP with the primary account, grant permission, and then I'm good to go. The only caveat is I don't know how many accounts can be linked to the car.

This just happened to me. I guess it is because I am using the widget you built. I really like the widget, but is the only solution to delete it or do the second email account like you are doing?

I have not contacted the EA people yet. What a PIA.

Edit: I am also using Tronity. I really, really don't want to stop that service.

Are they saying you cannot use Tronity?

Wondering if this is related to the post I made earlier. I was using the Ford Status Widget but since stopped and logged out. This is my email inbox right now:

They don't say it but this is the only API I was using
Just want to second this, I appear to be locked out as well and Tronity is the only third-party service I've been using.

I've not been accepted into EAP, is there an email I can reach out to or is that only for EAP members?

I have also been using Tronity and today they confirmed that my account is locked because of the 3rd party app (they didn't say which app and didn't ask), now waiting to get it open again.

Interesting detail was that FordPass continued to work all the time and also Tronity, only the Ford web portal access was disabled.

I just heard back from Ford.

I was told that allowing third party apps use of my account is a violation of the terms and conditions for that account, and if I do not remove my account information from Tronity, my FP account may be permanently disabled. I am sure this applies to the widget I have been using also.

This is a huge negative strike against Ford in my book. It is the wrong policy especially because I consider the data my car produces to belong to me, not Ford.

I have almost a year of my car's data in Tronity and now I don't have any choice but to stop it. I was really looking forward to getting another winter of driving data to compare with last year.

To say I am pissed off is putting it mildly.

I would love to make my widget fully compliant, using just Oauth2 to get permission to access the API. All I need to get started would be for Ford to acknowledge my request for information how to do so.
