Other dealers I've been talking to have been selling the GTs after I walk out the door with 10k markups so people are buying them. The one I test drove last week had 4 appointments after mine.

Yeah, until this dies down, you/the consumer simply has no power. Just need to see/weigh your need. Some folks talk about buying a Tesla M3 or MY, but I feel Tesla's may have a higher chance for a price cut since they have better supply control/costs to make the cars and remember M3/MY have increased in prices by $15k+ already.

Just me, but Tesla being on every corner and the design is pretty lacking and the MY being a pretty poor driving dynamics car (we're not talking about straight line performance), seems the platform is pretty dated (to me again), the Tesla offerings are pretty lacking when every soccer mom out there has one (I see like 20+ in a simple drive). You can only do so much with software (still looks the same and like an egg).

Folks can call it ADM/MSRP increase, it's still the same and Tesla's have no tax credit neither right now. I suppose I just feel buying a Tesla feels like buying a 5 year old car that looks like 80% of all the other EVs out there. Not that they are bad, but boring and not really cheap. MY is $67k start.

I'd be more interested in the Macan EV personally (but that's been pushed to 2024 now vs. 2023. Maybe 2025? since things only get delayed) if I wanted more performance since the 5 sec limiter alone would have moved me away from the GT. Maybe can also look at the Lucid SUV too. We can assume that will have massive range.

For me personally, while I respect Tesla's for their tech, it wouldn't feel special to me. There is no unique factor fersure.

I've been a mustang fan my whole life, I bought a used 2007 V6 pony package with my own money when I was 19 (am 32 now), and getting the Mach E definitely has more of an emotional connection for me. This would bring it back full circle after all these years

There is a white GTPE near me in Hastings, MN. Been there for 2 months - started at $10k adm, dropped to $9k adm about 3 weeks ago and dropped further to $7k adm a week ago.

I'm sure there are more examples of dealers lowering ADM in less popular EV regions. The dropping in price would indicate they're ready to move it as its not cheap floorplanning this car for months.

I did not read every reply but I agree with a lot of them. THE ADM is high but....if you want it go for it. I just got a similar 2022 GT for about 70 so just about 5K less than you and I am happy. I love the car. If you can afford it go for it.

I know you all are on the edge of my seat, but I'm throwing out 5k adm to a few dealers right now and seeing who wants to fight for my money, waiting on call backs as they "talk to their managers". I called the dealership I test drove the GT at last weekend and it's still on the lot with their 10k adm, I said I'll do 5 and sign today. I'd be ok with 5k, after rebates and tax cred that puts it's at 61,410 net price and I could live with that.

Then if you get multiple to bite, you can tell all of them except one that you're buying another car, and see if they'll sell at no markup.

I got the dealer I talked to last week to commit to 5k over with Ford options at 3.9% with 2k rebate! Down from the 10k adm offer last week.

So MSRP 66,410 +5k adm - 2000 rebate - 7500 credit puts me at 61,410 net price.

Which is about 9k cheaper than the same optioned 2023 GT so I can be happy with that. Going to head to the dealer so sign the papers!

Legal to be that stupid to pay 15K over ADM or legal to ask if anyone is that stupid to entertain paying 15K over ADM?

Buyers remorse will settle in if someone is that stupid to pay it and then when they trade it in someday, they will be so upside down that they will think they will have rolled the car.

What is this 2000$ ford rebate, how can I get it.
My mach-e arrived to the dealership after a year and I am going to dealership tomorrow to finalize the deal. I just see in my ford account (500 off not 2000)
