Looked up a bit of info as I was curious. 649hp out of a 733kWh battery pack, 160min to charge to 80% at 175kw, GVCW of 82,000lbs and a range of 330 miles.

She briefly talked to the driver and he said he was a salesman and this was a new truck being delivered to a customer. I think she said the dealership was in Richmond VA? Not sure, but it was def a US customer purchase

Either way, this one drove off under it's own power shortly after my wife got those pics. Driver did apologize for taking up a lot of room

Very cool, but the math doesn't make sense. How does it charge up a 733 kWh pack at 175kW in under 3 hours?

Love seeing cutting edge EV tech. Reminds me of when I saw this fully electric excavator up here in NJ back in the spring.

They’ve been testing them driving between Phoenix and Tucson on the I 10 right by where they make the Lucid vehicle. I think there’s some kind of battery deal with them as well. I have probably seen them about 10 times sometimes pulling a trailer sometimes not. If they become the vehicle of choice on the interstate it may make truckers safer by forcing them to nap while charging

Jes sayin. Sleeping rig drivers kill more Americans than most know. Might be a problem to catch on fire, though those batteries might burn for a month.

The Nikola factory is in Coolidge, Lucid factory is in Casa Grande.
