some while back then, we made a PPF for the rear bumper on the trunk area.
PPF

And a couple of Owners told me that they own a bigger pet, or carry heavy equipment a lot in the Mach E Trunk, and would like something that offer stronger protection(especially on the edge area that tends to easily scratched)

Here you go.

I appreciate the fact that you guys are always trying to come up with things people are asking for. It's nice to have a manufacturer in our corner!

How do we specify which badge we want or will it come with both?

Is the metal lip visible with the hatch closed?

Are you still considering other materials for the bumper protector? I'd prefer something like rubber, which would also be easier to ship since it could be rolled up.

haha, now that we have both PPF and Metal, we are probably gonna stop working on this area. and plus if we use rubber, and if we want to protect the edge at the same time, the rubber piece might either be thicker or expose more when the trunk is closed

That's too bad since I'm not really into PPF or metal for the bumper area. But I get it. You can't make everyone happy. Thanks for continuing to get accessories out there for us!

Instead of the Mach e sticker could you ship with pony logo stickers?

I ordered mine a while back, and the flat plate over the top of the bumper fit well, while the plate that goes over the leading edge, where the trunk latches, never seated properly and would "click" when pushed down upon in low areas and regions that did not have double-sided tape, consistently pulled up due to an exposed edge, that did not conform to the shape of the leading edge of the trunk, and caught on items when they were loaded. I tried to use some excellent 3M double-sided tape to replace the supplied stuff, fully cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol, so I cleaned off the excess tape was pre-placed by the manufacturer, and used a heat gun to warm up both surfaces before applying new tape to protector, and heated up the receiving OEM protector just before applying the guard.I Left the trunk closed in ~100° heat here in my hometown for five days, and yet the upper unit continued to lift, "crackle" when pushed down on, as if it wasn't falling flush to the OEM protector, and eventually caught a piece of luggage and lifted to where I had to take it off again. I went ahead and requested a refund, but my time is very tight, and finding another box to ship it back was not easy, so only the bumper guard stays, which has performed well to date. and both really look nice, and would be a great functional item, but I think that the Metal concept for the guard should be replaced with a rubberized protectant that would lay flat easily and still protect the surfaces from scuffing. So many other ways to MacGyver a fix such as using more double sided tape, showing in regions that did not have double sided tape raising surface, since it would not crackle and would be flush, and making sure the leading edge lip was very flush to the OEM cover with a bevel or tape right at leading edge .I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a retractable trunk cargo cover from AOSK, but I am leery because I understand that the adhesive used for the rear connection is also pulling up without much insult, and I may have to find a different route. The manufacture is excellent, I have many other pieces that are wonderful such as the rear spoiler cover, which saved me a bundle, when I accidentally hit the post at a charging station, while backing into it, and only had to order a new spoiler cover. AOSK can look at my account and see how many after -market parts I've purchased and it is a pleasure to have most of their equipment work perfectly. As a whole, I fully recommend AOSK, although, as I said, I think a rubberized model of the bumper and lip protector might be much more durable, and set in more precisely.

wow! thank you so much for this very detailed feedback!
for the piece that doesnt sit flush, is it like that when you receive the item? it doesnt seem normal.
did you return it yet? if no, i could send you a replacement for it.

Thank you very much for the support along the way.
