Which is why I assume I got the email I did from them about sending an emblem with the wrong connector and that they would send the correct one if necessary....what does the "wrong connector" look like? Is it just wired to work with parking lights instead of the brake light? Is that it? I guess I won't be able to tell by looking at it..I'll have to connect it up right?Chatted with support this morning. They feel it was packaged wrong. Sending another one to try on Tuesday.
I understand this is meant to work as maybe a fouth brake light but maybe add another color option like Ford Blue Mustang? I think this would be great!Make it an LED that can be set to a generic color that somewhat matches the paint color so that color glows and then turns BRIGHT red when brakes are applied. Making it programmable would increase the cost but I'd think it would add more personal value for the effort.
The illuminated logo should be able to work as a brake light or as a tail light. It all depends upon which positive wire you tap into. I used mine as as a fourth brake light. The illuminated logo I installed does not have two LED so you cannot use it as a tail light that gets brighter when you brake. If you tap into the tail light the logo it would be lit up when your rear lights are on.I understand this is meant to work as maybe a fouth brake light but maybe add another color option like Ford Blue Mustang? Not sure how to tell by looking. I am guessing the wires in the connector are switched somehow.Which is why I assume I got the email I did from them about sending an emblem with the wrong connector and that they would send the correct one if necessary....what does the "wrong connector" look like? Wow! Thanks for the insight. I do love what I see of your product though. It’s really temptingThe OEM rear pony uses a combination of clips and adhesive (primarily adhesive). When you remove the rear pony you will see that there is a TON of adhesive. The video we showed needs to be updated to highlight the fact that there are adhesive and you will need to use de-badging tools to remove the 3m tape.
Thank you for your insight and feedback nevertheless.
We also custom ordered rear 10 always-on ponies intended to be white/blue leds. These will be made available for purchase soon. During packaging those 10 got mixed up. The connectors and Pony are unique and must be used together due to the configuration. We decided to alert everyone instead of waiting to find out (albeit someone reached out to us before we sent the initial email). To resolve this issue we are offering to provide a return label and to separately ship out the brake light pony on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding and we can’t wait until you have your REAR ponyNot sure how to tell by looking. I am guessing the wires in the connector are switched somehow.
Pics or it didn't happenInstalled my rear pony (brake light only) and it went like a breeze although I did lose one clip on the panels. Somehow it went into La-la land. Looked everywhere. When it came off it sounded like it fell inside the tailgate, but I don't know how that's possible. Anyway, everything works great and the clip absence doesn't seem to make a difference. It was in the middle of the right side panel. I did use one clip on the Pony in addition to the adhesive tape.

Not the best pics as it's daytime but you get the idea:Pics or it didn't happen![]()
Grab a magnetic tool, extend it into the opening where you are missing the clips and slowly navigate toward the trunk (gravity) and you will successfully recover the clip!Installed my rear pony (brake light only) and it went like a breeze although I did lose one clip on the panels.
