If you ever get stuck in the guest profile, make a new profile then delete it

So this is a random post to help others who may run into this issue, but my Mach e got stuck in the guest profile. Hitting either mine or my fiancés profile did nothing. Nor did the memory seat buttons. Left it like that for several days

Easy way to fix it. Create a new profile and then delete it. Magically I was able to get out of the guest profile and it went back to normal.

I've actually noticed that deleting the 2nd dummy profile causes the issue to return, so I wound up leaving in the dummy profile.

hold volume down and left arrow on the steering wheel for 5 seconds.

Yep. I rebooted mine a few times a week. Take a few seconds. Annoying yes but hopefully Ford will figure it out soon enough.

Adding the extra profile eliminates the problem altogether, covered on a different thread

Oh yeah! You don't happen to have a link to that, do you? I have 2 profiles and a guest profile and it would be nice to eliminate the issue.

Just add a profile and name it ”test” don’t add a key or anything special .

I just did it but you can wait if you want. Maybe it goes away on its own.
