It appears the unwanted OTAs go away after 2 weeks. ?

I guess that makes sense, I believe that's how long the deployment lasts. I wonder how Ford is going to handle it though... you miss your 2 week window, do you just have to wait until they decide to push that update again since there is no way to actually check for updates?

Looks like you hit the trifecta, congrats
li have been on 3.5.4 for a week and problems on and off.

still waiting for 3.5.4.2 but don’t know if that will help, anyone know?
So, I have been having phone connection issues with 3.5.4. Today when I went to drive my car, it popped up a screen asking if I wanted to connect my phone or my wife's, and I selected mine and got Carplay. I had never seen that screen before, but had been seeing it connect to whichever phone it had previously been connected to. Both our phones seem to be in range when in the house. Then on my return home the car indicated an update, I got 3.5.4.2, so it must have changed something.

I still haven’t received 3.5.4.2, been about 2 weeks. If my wife and I are in the car at the same time it goes to her phone sometimes, like my BMW , if she was in car last . problem is that I can’t change to my phone without doing a resync, unlike my BMW

sometimes her car play shows up with my profile. Not much consistency but more importantly I can’t just change to what I want , I could live with that but to constantly have to do a resync is ridiculous

Just got my FP notification of getting 3.5.4.2, but interestingly, I never got 3.5.4. In early October I brought myself to 3.5.3.3 status myself with FDRS, and since then there’s been nothing. Today I not only got notice of getting 3.5.4.2 (yay OTA update train again!) but I also got a notice of getting my one free year of BC, so it looks like some database somewhere suddenly started recognizing me again.

Just got notice to accept this update today but then got the exclamation point while driving that Update could not be completed, kinda weird, hopefully tries again soon.

actually kinda curious what my OTA reason this couldn’t complete says, first time I’ve had it fail in a while. @Mach-Lee mind if I send you my VIN? They seem to have this ironed out recently.

Good question. Not sure. In my case I hope that is the end of it. It said it was just video streaming while charging my car. I almost never sit in the car while charging anyway and if I did, I can use my phone. Plus this requires a subscription to a Ford Streaming plan anyway so it's worthless to me.

However, what about those people that do care about this and were on vacation or their car was stuck at the dealership for some repair etc? Hopefully those people have some way to get an opportunity to receive the software update if they missed the first try.

doesn't require a subscription, you can use your own hotspot

I don't have a hotspot.
Im just correcting you because people think the video streaming requires a subscription, most mobile phones have built in hotspots though
