My non gt's range has dropped by about 20 miles since it's gotten cold (well colder) here in TEXAS

That depends on one’s use case. There are many drivers who are fine with SR winter range.

Today it was 24.8 fahrenheit (about -4 celcius) and i actually got a pretty decent range out of my car. But only after i was on a longer trip. Short trips kill the GOM, but actual range actually is pretty close to 260 miles when using scheduled pre-heating.

Yeah I didn’t post here as a complaint or surprised by it. That estimate equates to like 2.0 mi/kw . I’ve never gotten less than 2.4 over an extended drive. Range does reduce I the cold, the estimates are “overly” conservative. You just have to develop your own calibration.. if your drive that day need a more a more accurate prediction.
