I’m actually really happy with my Leaf. The Bolt is smaller and the seats are a deal breaker. I also want AWD. Equinox may be an option.
If you want the maximum tax credit since you have lots of tax liability for 2022, I'd get a new '22 MME.

In 2023, the tax credit is still unknown and some are guessing half credit.

Plus the price increases for '23 MME will kill the so called credit.

Like I previously said, I won’t be able to use another credit for 22 because of the Leaf.
If you have over $15K in tax liability for 2022, you can get 2 EVs in the same year.

What does everyone think about the 23 prospects?
I think 2023 will be an interesting year. The forecasts vary from mild recession, to double recession, to multi-year depression. And also the inflation forecasts vary from deflation to multi-year stubborn elevated levels and Fed target reset to about 3%. That means the MME prices can go up or down, or cutting production, or even Ford going out of business. Everything is possible.

You are under the mistaken impression that tax credits are limit to one car per year. That is not the case. The limitation is your tax liability only.

Also, there is no such thing as "order one at X-Plan" or any other plan. You pay with plan, orders don't indicate type of plan or payment.
Actually, you can order under X-Plan within the ordering system. Order type X, of course. For retail ordering you can order type 1, X, and A. There are a few others, but they're specialized order types.

Of course, the order type doesn't mean that has to be the purchase method.

There isn't an xplan ordering system, the order still has to go through the dealer, I was just saying that you can earmark an order as Xplan in the ordering system. All of that is moot for mach e though since mach e no longer qualifies for Xplan.

I test drove Model Y. For Mach E 22, I would not consider Model Y. If I had to wait for Mach E 23, Model Y is quite attractive with $3750 off this month. I like storage space of a Model Y and the Tesla autopilot in Model S (not Model Y) with the driver screen. It was quite useful under foggy condition. Model Y does NOT have a driver screen and the vinyl seats is not as good as Mach E Select. I have never driven BC on Mach E in foggy condition so I could not compare BC to Tesla autopilot. For the autopilot, once you get a red card from not being a good polit, the autopilot will not be available until you put the car to park. I hate that thing.

After 20k miles with both, blue cruise has disappointed me in almost every scenario. Whatever my disappointment with autopilot was, BC is just like “lane assist”

No AWD. But the Equinox or Blazer may be good options.
This. But there are "if's". IF Barra sticks to the pricing and IF availability is good and IF GM dealers aren't A-holes and IF the LG batteries don't catch fire (?).

Will the Equinox and/or Blazer qualify for a tax credit at all?
