Can someone please post the link that they are using the get 4.22 on their older phone thanks
It's a "try at your own risk" kind of thing. I only know about Android: Go to apkmirror dot com and search for FordPass. Make sure to read about the risks etc on their site. Also, there are different language versions out there, took me some trial and error to find the us English one.

I find that when I set a departure time in ford pass it always says there is a error but then It does what it's supposed to anyway ?. This app is like your toddler at home.

Experiencing the same problem, version 4.23 on Pixel 7. Posted review on Ford pass app store as Ford responds to negative reviews there....

Minus 24 now, hope they fix it quick!

This definitely was a result of the 4.23 update and is specific to Android. When I called FP (first time I ever tried that) they confirmed it is a known problem and the rep indicated a fix would be in the next release. I asked why it wouldn't be fixed sooner seeing as how it is winter but the Rep was kind of clueless, reading from a script.

In a more detailed troubleshooting effort I did determine that there is partial functionality. I found if I go into the car and set a departure time it does work and the time shows up in the App button. When you then delete the time in the car and it clears from the App, you can then open departure times and get the three parameters. But when you try to apply it you get the FP not responding message. But then the next day the time I had entered appeared in the button, but again you can't get back into the function.

It is disappointing the Ford does not consider this important but there will be a lot of people struggling the next few days while the temps are near 0.

One interesting thing I noticed is that I have two cars in the app, and it works for one of them but not the other.

Lately actually FordPass not really updating at all - no longer showing correct state of charge, charging status, etc. PAAK working, so that's the main thing. Eager for an update to fix this buggy version.

I was having some success with 4.22 on an old phone, and I do have 4.23 "working" in that it is not throwing errors, but no charging related changes that I make get to the car in either version. Really frustrating. Seems like this stuff would be server side, since the apps think the changes are saved. I even see the changes made in 4.23 show up in 4.22 and vice-versa, but none actually make it to the car.

I’ve consistently not been able to get departure times to work in the iPhone app. In car works fine. But I see some people actually get error messages in the app or endless loading screens. For me, I can set it in the app and will get a message that it successfully saved and my schedule shows up in app. But it never transfers to the car. If I go out to the car, the schedule is blank. Anyone else get this situation with pseudo success in the app but no effect on car? Not sure where the problem lies.

Yup. That’s quite common. If I actually want a departure time to work, I go to the car and set it up. Either FordPass is amiss or there was a communication problem introduced to the car recently.

Yeah, I see the same problem. For awhile FordPass didn't even show the Departure Time edit screen. That now is back but changes made in the app are not changing the settings in the car. Changes made in the car do show up in the app, but it is only syncing one way from car to app. Still needs a fix to be able to sync from app to car.

Thanks. So weird that it works for some people and not for others on seemingly the same app versions. I’ve tried deleting the app entirely and reinstalling but no change.

I keep waiting for Ford to figure it out in the next app or powerup release, but if it currently works for a small number of people, it makes me think there must be some other variable too.

Those that say it works from the app or it always works if you set it in the car must not use it very often or have different software than me. Set a departure time in the car today, saved it, it was there, shut the car off, open the door, restarted and guess what it was gone schedule was clean. Car problem not an app problem here.
