Ding Ding after start

It is the lights. This happened to me on my earlier 2021 Mach E after an update where the lights automatically by itself move from Auto to On position and it makes that sound. It was fixed later on. Looks like they have reintroduced that problem after a recent update.
Agree, this was a past issue, you need to switch from Auto, to Off, back to Auto and it *should* quiet it down. But mine still dings.


I thought there was a replacement switch last November for this mess...

Agree that “ding-ding” is usually the Nav system or something else informational. “Doo-DEE-doo, doo-DEE-doo” is usually seat belts, headlight, or some other safety warning (like liftgate closing). ??

Yep. The fix will be ready in November of 2022. Just be patient.
