I've seen a few other January orders with similar build dates as well. It's either that or they really aren't kidding about increased production after the factory expansion!

I noticed that the earlier builds were largely GT / GTPEs, so this makes sense.

I wonder if orders really tapered off that quickly, or you had something else going for you to jump the line
Honestly, right now since my MME is getting built... this is my situation.. (I know Im opening myself up for some obvious responses.. )

Im just glad that my car is getting built. I was so far looking forward to the anticipation of "build date" and now that I have that, I am psyching myself up by printing the "Checklist" and getting it ready, 2 months ahead of time. ;)

Agreed. Getting my EVSE installed yesterday is quite a bit ahead of when it's needed, but it makes it feel like I'm one step closer.

I actually wasn't expecting to have it installed yesterday, but the company came out for a quote, provided one that I was happy with, and said they could do it then. I figured I'd have to wait several weeks to get on the list - they said they typically do 50 - 60 installs a month.

I have the 240V plug, and plan to use that, and dont plan to have the EVSE. Though, considering I bought my MME and all my previous EVs were leased, something for me to look into. But, I never (so far) didnt have a need for a "quick" charge. I was able to plan my charging so far that I was able to get this done overnight.

Is the EVSE worth it for the quicker charge? Don't know.

Are you referring to using the Ford mobile charger versus buying something else (Emporia, Charge Point Home Flex, Wall Box, Juice Box, etc)?

EVSE is just the generic term for the supply that you either plug into a 240V outlet, or hardwire to your breaker that supplies the AC voltage to the car at up to 48A for the Mach E. With your 240V outlet, assuming it is wired for the high-current, you can have Level 2 charging using either the Ford Mobile charger or buying something else. Level 2 will get you ~20 - 30 miles per hour of charging

You can search on the forums for which EVSE people use - there are several people who voiced concerns that the Ford Mobile charger isn't robust enough for everyday use...though maybe if you only need to charge once or twice a week it is OK.

If you are plugging into a standard 120V outlet, then you are using Level 1 charging (~3 miles per hour charging).

Level 3 charging is also known as DC fast charging, but that is more of a commercial installation - not something you'll have at your house.

Yeah, I plan to use the Ford Mobile charger, since it provides both plugs. I don't plan to charge more than 2 times a week (since I have the ER) and hopefully will not need to charge more frequently. That being said, which EVSE did you install?

I have the Emporia Level 2 Charger
The electrician I had install the equipment said his preference is Telsa, Wall Box, and Charge Point

Yeah, been there done that. Did that for 2 EVs and got the 240V connection for my third. MME is going to be my fourth.

I'm a little late to the party, but I'm also in the 4/10 build club.
Grabber Blue Premium AWD Standard Range
Ordered on 1/31/23. (Sorry, don't hate me!)
I'm a 4/17 Build Week and I updated my order twice after originally ordering on 11/25/22, but my final order update was 1/31/23 and it now shows 1/31 as being my "order date," so who knows what the heck is going on?

Makes me wonder if they're bunching the Select builds for a later build date to get enough supplies and parts for the start of the LFP battery pack switch over for those lower end models.

I thought you already got a date for your order, so it shouldnt matter what the order date was, no? Also, your pricing should be updated now, yes?

That is possible. Although it was funny how we had quite a few Premium Vapor Blue built together in the same week.
