How long did it take owning a MME to get your first speeding ticket?

15 months and never told wifey that I got it or that I’d been for the speed awareness course? simpler that way?

LOL I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket yet in my ‘79 Trans Am, much less in the MME. ?‍?

Historically, my speeding tickets have been on the highway and typically on road trips. Oddly enough I've found that driving the MME on highway road trips has encouraged me to drive a bit more slowly. I like trying to stay over 3 miles/kWh and that becomes difficult over 70mph.

I did get pulled over for rolling through a stop sign last year, and thankfully only received a warning.

Mine was a fully automated camera.

Funny thing is that I know exactly where that camera is located. I had to reach a store before it closed and time was getting short. I was stopped in a left-hand turn lane to take the nicer route when I realized how short I was in town. I spotted a gap in the traffic coming from behind me and hit the throttle hard -- purely for safety reasons, of course. 0-55 in half a block ?

The MME is slow compared to my last car. And not all that much quicker than the one before it.

I will say it stops accelerating beautifully- you can WoT blast it to 35mph in a heartbeat, and then just stop accelerating and cruise at 35. When the cars around you finally catch up and pass you at 60 they're just perfect bait for any public safety types lurking about.

That thing will jump off the line, don't you doubt it! You can scatter a grocery bag the whole length of the van if you try really hard. And have a 4 year old throwing stuff.

Prior to the MME was a Tesla 3 Stealth, 6-speed BMW 650 before that ("slow" at 4.5 seconds 0-60)
