OK I am fully ready for the "what an idiot" comments, but I went driving around in my usual areas after the 4.2.6 update and I could swear it is driving smoother, and less bouncy, and I can very much notice a difference between Whisper and Unbridled mode in how it feels (the handling, not the suspension). Is it even possible to adjust suspension via OTA updates?

The GT has a mechanical suspension. Only the GTPE has an active suspension that changes based on drive mode.

Some have noticed smoother braking after the update. Maybe that is what you are noticing.

I guess I should have been more clear in the way I phrased it. I know the suspension isn't different between modes, I was referring to the handling differences between modes seems more pronounced after the update. The smoother less bouncy ride is overall, applies to all modes.

I use 1PD so I have not noticed anything different except Unbridle cruise does feel smoother than before. I was driving in Whisper because cruise was smoother but now it doesn't feel much, if any, smoother than Unbridle. But that is certainly subjective and I haven't used Unbridle cruise in a few months until after this update, so I am not sure if 4.2.6 did it or not.

In medicine, that's known as the placebo effect.
Well I did ask is I was imagining it ? in this case I'll take it, if it feels another and less bouncy to me, then I'm happy ?

I drive exclusively in Unbridled, so maybe it's an Unbridled thing.

Check your tire pressure. Maybe it is lower and you are noticing that.

I got the update two days ago. I noticed the same thing right away. The steering is looser, the breaking is smoother, and the regen doesn't seem to be as strong in Unbridled as before. There are definitely some changes.

I definitely feel sexier driving in Unbridled now, too ?

I think a lot of what people feel in these situations is a reduction in front to back changes in pitch. This isn’t a suspension change, but since it manifests as a reducing in front to back bounce, it is often described as such.

That's actually very interesting, and would explain it. Thanks!
