Updated to 4.2.6 a few days ago but never received this one.

Huh. Were you driving it or charging it right before 1AM?Thanks for this. There is now another update that came in right behind it and it will not activate either. I am thinking there is more problems then the battery not being topped off.
This is the first time we have ever had problems with OTA updates.
A new error code as well:
"errorCode":"CooldownFailed(8)"

It had been plugged in since roughly 9pm so it was charging. It is set to do updates at 1am. This is the strangest issue, especially since we have never had any updates fail.Huh. Were you driving it or charging it right before 1AM?
Where did you pull up the record of your OTA’s?Thanks for this. There is now another update that came in right behind it and it will not activate either. I am thinking there is more problems then the battery not being topped .

I had about a 10 day gap between 4.2.6 and this update.Updated to 4.2.6 a few days ago but never received this one.
I continue to get “update failed”. Any idea why or am I just waiting for my turn? Thanks!Updated!

I noticed in the list of precondition for an inhibit update “12V battery charge is not too low.” was added. I went back and found that showed up on 4.2.3, the previous inhibit update 3.6.2 didn’t list this.
That’s good they are telling people that the 12v SOC could cause install problems, but, THEY DONT GIVE YOU ANY WAY TO CHECK THE 12V BATTERY!!!!
Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to tell their customers to check something they can’t check.
I mean I know WE can check it, but the average user has no idea how to do what we do.
If you have an OBD2 reader you can check and see if your 12v battery is low. If you don’t, then I would say got for a long drive, 30+ minutes, then as soon as you get home trigger the update to install.I continue to get “update failed”. Any idea why or am I just waiting for my turn? Thanks!

It worked! Many thanks for the suggestion to make sure the 12V is fully charged, took a ride for 30 minutes ??If you have an OBD2 reader you can check and see if your 12v battery is low. Sweet! I’m glad it worked. I wish ford made it clear this was the cause.It worked! Many thanks for the suggestion to make sure the 12V is fully charged, took a ride for 30 minutes ??
You are correct - Ford decides when it is time for your car to get the update. Once it arrives there are things you can do if it fails to install.How do you trigger an update? I thought we were just at the mercy of when Ford sends them to our car.
