I think the order tracker site got tired of me hitting refresh multiple times a day to see if it's shipped. It seems frozen in time as "in production" and last update 6/8.

Lol well someone denied my “activate vehicle” request from the car, so at least I know it’s been moved…somewhere

My GTPE got an update on 6/18 that now shows estimated delivery of 6/16/23-6/29/23.
However, I'm out. I was already a little nervous about the price tag and 5 second limit. Losing the full tax credit and Ford announcing that they will be switching to NACS pushed me over the edge. I decided to stop by Tesla and try a model y performance and was impressed enough that I ordered one. Estimated delivery on 6/28-6/30. As much as I like the mach-e I think I'll wait until it has the nacs port and the 5 second limit is gone in a few years

I just received built status on the 21st but have gotten zero communication.
Just as Xray... I'm out for the same reasons. I have ordered a Tesla also. I really wanted to go with the Mach E but will see how all this plays out with the charging infrastructure and NACS.

I checked tracking this morning and it has arrived at the dealer for final prep. I'm tempted to still go look at it.

The Mach E is a great looking vehicle. But 5k is enough to keep me from going. I'm cancelling my order before it's being shipped. If I didn't get a few options on my Model Y I could have saved several more K.
Ford needs to figure something out to start selling more vehicles.

My tracker hasn't updated in weeks, but my dealer confirmed yesterday that my car's been built and is just waiting for transport. I know there's a shortage of rail cars, so we'll see how long that takes. I'm super excited none-the-less.

Have you seen your window sticker yet? Do you know which battery is in your vehicle?

If your car is a 2023 (not a 2023.5), I think your pricing will be in line with the Feb 2023 reductions, rather than the pricing announced last month. And to be fair, if your vehicle is coming with the current (old) battery rather than the LFP, it will also have the 3 years of BlueCruise and the mobile charger - which is what you ordered.

If your car is a 2023.5, with the LFP battery, BC trial only, and no mobile charger, you'll get the lower price. I think I read somewhere on here that those don't go into production until the first week of July though. If yours is being built this week, I think you'll get the 2023, with the "old" battery, at the Feb pricing.

It seems to me like Ford and dealers have kind of a mess on their hands right now. I don't think it's fair of us to expect them to lower the price of the 2023 to 2023.5 structure, when we get $2,100 BC and a $500 travel charger that the 2023.5 will not have standard. I hear ya - I would have preferred the option, and may have declined both - but that wasn't possible when I ordered.

I personally think the people who saw the 2023.5 pricing on their window stickers were part of a system issue that Ford applied accidentally. Someone on the forum just said their sticker reverted back to the price he/she committed to at the time of order, after it had been lower at one point.

I took delivery on 5/17, on the vehicle I ordered last Oct. The price came down with the Feb 2023 reduction, but delivery went up $500, and I lost half of the federal tax credit (which I realize wasn't Ford's doing - for a while, we thought we wouldn't be eligible at all, when the IRS classified the MME as a car rather than an SUV). I did not pay a dealer markup, and Ford Options isn't allowed in my state. Basically, I got the car I ordered, and I can't complain about that. I qualified for the Oct 2022 interest rate (4.74) on a straight purchase. At least you'll be eligible for 2.9%!

Ultimately, it's up to you. Do you want to re-order at the lower price, and wait another 6 months or so? Where will interest rates be in late 2023 / early 2024? What if your new order gets converted to a 2024? We don't know what pricing will be, how long delivery will take, and you may end up waiting over a year, like some people whose 2022 orders were converted. I thought about all of these things while mine was in shipment (and also considered abandoning the MME altogether in favor of a larger SUV, I also looked at almost every comparable EV and hybrid vehicle, and didn't find anything I loved move). I ended up taking delivery - and I'm so happy I did. My MME Premium is a beautiful car, much smoother ride than I expected after reading many posts, very comfortable, super fast, and gets a lot of admiration, because it's not just another Tesla. Good luck in your decision!
this is interesting, I didn't know this about the new battery. I ordered a gtpe earlier this week and was assigned a build date of july 31 and already have my vin. So I'm guessing it will be a 23.5 with LFP battery?

I figured I should go test drive a MY LR with the 20in wheels since I have one on order... I was really impressed. Then I went and test drove a MME GT... And I felt the bouncy ride I've read about and it just felt so much heavier of a car.
I'm definitely getting the MY LR.

Yeah same here. I let the dealer know I wasn't going to pick up the mach-e. I have an appointment to pick up the MYP on the 30th.

Just an information point here. I currently drive a Tesla MY LR with the 20" wheels - 31k miles in. I can't stand it anymore. Everything rattles, squeaks and the road noise over bumps is terrible. I tried denying the build quality issues, but as I started putting miles on it, they started getting worse. I also thought I could live with all of the entertainment being a streaming service - my wife got to joking that we see the spinning circle more on trips sometimes than we hear music playing. Most of the time I just use my phone through bluetooth (no CarPlay available) to listen to something that way.

I'm in a 2021 though, so perhaps some of these issues are better now. Test driving the Mach E though, the heavier car and the better build quality really made a big difference to us vs the Tesla.

These are just my gripes with the car, and they obviously get exaggerated as the honeymoon period wears off. I'm sure we'll have some of the same with the Mach-E. Just thought I'd give my $.02

I appreciate your 2 cents... I'm hoping that the 23 model is built better. And with the MY being the biggest selling car in the US that Tesla has to be doing something right.
I've read a lot and watched a lot of you tube and things have been pretty positive for the most part.

Well, finally my car shows built as of 6/26. I guess that email about supply chain issues was legit.
