Shipped! I got the email this morning saying it had shipped yesterday. The manage page says 7/27-8/2 for delivery while the tracker says 7/24-8/6.

One other notable event happened yesterday before I got the shipping notification: I got impatient and went to another dealer to test drive a GTPE since I semi-regretted not ordering that. It turns out they were mistaken and didn't have a PE available. What they did have was a new 2023 Cyber Orange GT exactly like the one I ordered just sitting on the display floor, where it's apparently been for a month, though it's not listed on their (or Ford's) website. They will make an accounting change tomorrow to be able to sell it to me if I want it. They will also re-invoice it or get a credit to match the new price. They might even be able to save my deposit. I did also test drive a regular GT again and it settled all my doubts about not getting the PE.

So are you gonna end up getting the PE or just the GT? I’ve been looking at PE at my dealership but the only reason why I haven’t pulled the trigger is because I really want Cyber Orange and it’s hard to find.

I will get just the plain GT either way. The Rapid Red GTPE that Ford showed as at the dealer was actually still in transit, but the person on the phone didn't know the difference and thought the red non-PE GT on the lot was the one I was asking about. The Cyber Orange GT in their showroom is also non-PE, as is the GT I have on order.

I had been questioning whether I should have gone with the GTPE instead of the GT to begin with, but yesterday's test drive helped confirm that I made the right call. I went in with more knowledge this time and specific things to look for. The main thing I had wanted from the PE was the MagneRide suspension, but the ride yesterday was great so that's moved down my wishlist. Also, the non-PE GT did have Unbridle Extended. I had been under the impression that was PE-only (or "vehicles with: active dampers") so it was nice to see I wasn't losing out on that. I still like the PE wheels better, but I spent more time looking at the GT aero covers up close and they're growing on me. If I decide I really need the PE wheels, there are aftermarket options. The extra power in the PE is a non-issue for me as the GT has plenty.

Honestly I agree with you, that’s why I ended up going with just the GT. I even watched some reviews and the 0-60 are pretty much the same. Also I’m currently driving the Premium Extended AWD and the ride in that car is amazing so ride quality wasn’t my concern. We definitely made the right decision ??.

Also my tracker was updated today so that was a bit weird, especially on 4th July

Well, today is not a holiday in Mexico. Still no update on my order. Estimated delivery is 8/1-8/7.

I did a bit more reading, only the standard range battery will be LFP, the extended range will remain NCM, the LFP is slightly heavier but charges at a faster rate.

she’s alive! Someone pressed the activate button which tells me it must be moving into shipping. Sadly, the car location is showing as Mexico still.

I've had my app connected since about 6/15. The drive log shows small trips for 2 weeks. GPS tracking got turned off after like 5 days and requires in car setting to enable again. Last time car "phoned home" is 6/29. I'm guessing it's still at the manufacturing plant waiting for a rail car to be shipped since the account status doesn't show it's shipped yet and ETA is 8/1. The wait continues. ?‍

Also for what it’s worth, my tracker actually reverted back to “in production” from built as of this morning. So, there’s that.

Also I did see that I received an alert that my Blue Cruise is active for 3 years. So I’m assuming I made it in before the change, but also probably explains why my sticker reflects the old price.

Finally got the notification that it's shipped! Manage page shows ETA still 7/29 - 8/4, but the Order Tracker says 07/26/2023 - 08/08/2023.

Same! Only after mine completely reverted back to “Order Comfirmed” last night lol. But this morning it shows Shipped with an ETA of 8/2. I watched the app last night and could see they moved it a few times towards the rail car area of the plant. I overlayed the cars location and movements on Apple Maps satellite image of the factory. Yes, I’m at that level of stalking now.

I assume someone pressed the “accept” button at the factory when I requested it. So far it’s stayed active, and even sent me alerts yesterday regarding blue cruise etc. being available. So technically that may mean I’m losing a months worth of services since they appear to be active now.

I assume our cars are on the same train so if they don’t shut it off and I am still able to track movement, I’m happy to share progress

Same for me. It reverted to Order Confirmed yesterday and got the Shipped notification this morning!
