Looking for Windshield / Roof recall Recommendations near southern New Hampshire

I am in Nashua, NH. I have had very good experiences with Best Ford for software updates. They have a technician who understands those things. However, they can not get the windshield/ roof recall taken care of. I do not have any leaks or wind noise so have not been too agressive to look further. Does anyone have a dealer who has done the glass recalls they can recommend?

I highly recommend Acton Ford - might be a little out of your way but they did a great job on other service issues with my Mach-E, unlike a couple other dealers I've taken it to for other things.

I see this posted from time to time. You should read over the recall, and the pages of instructions for the work.

Fact - has nothing to do with leaks or wind noise.
Fact - unless you're Superman, you can't see how well the adhesive is holding the windshield.
Fact - the windshield is an integral part of crash protection. Having it pop out in an accident could be deadly.
Fact - the roof can detach. It could then take out the people in the vehicles behind you. Since you had an open recall, and were aware of it, what would your defense be when someone files suit?

You should aggressively pursue finding a dealer on this several year old recall and get it done.

Fact: According to Ford Recall 21S42 " Inadequate urethane adhesion of the panoramic roof glass may result in increased Wind Noise , Water Leaks, ... " So leaks or wind noise could have something to do with it.

I agree but it is an indicator. Anyway, I now have an appointment to get it taken care of.

This is my dealership too. I have my first appointment for my 10k in a week or so.

How long did it take to get an appointment and parts? I bought a used MME that needs these two recalls done. I reached out to dealer 2+ weeks ago and they said they had to order the parts (a new windshield). They initially said it would take 5 days. It's been over 2 weeks and they still don't have the part yet and can't give me a firm date.
They also said it may take a couple weeks to perform the work once they get the parts. Why does it take a couple weeks to replace a windshield and sunroof? I've had plenty of windshields replaced before on other cars and it only took an hour or less and they did it in my driveway. Even on vehicles that required camera and other sensor calibration after a windshield replacement, it took less than a day.

Just very frustrating. (First Ford I've purchased, so this is first time dealing with Ford).

I have been trying to get this recall done since it first came out. Some dealers don’t want to do it or can’t do it but they never tell you that. some dealers sub this out to a glass company. They often break the windshield when they take it out. Most dealers will not order a new windshield until the old one is broken.
you are lucky if your dealer is ordering a windshield ahead of time. They don’t have to remove the glass Plano roof they just have to reseal it. I am hoping mine will take less than 3 to 4 days. I’ll keep you posted.

Glass recalls completed but due to a chip which would not pass state inspection I had to replace the windshiel.d While at the dealer they also replaced the charge port due to faulty temp sensors which were reducing my L2 home charging speeds. In total this took 5 days. I am totally satisfied with there work on these items.

How much was your cost for parts and labor on the windshield glass replacement?
Mine took a heavy chip a few weeks back and the crack is moving across the center right now.

Since I was doing the glass recall the dealer covered the labor and gave me a discount on the windshield. Total cost to me was $770 and my insurance is covering that. It only took 3 days to get the windshield after it was ordered. List price for the windshield was $1060.
