Anyone know what the MME 'China production version' is capable of performance wise? It would be no surprise if that version had more performance than the USA version... After all; Lincoln makes the Zephyr specifically and only for the Chinese market. Is the USA market sliding backwards? We pay more for less?
Don't get me wrong; I'm very happy with our '23 MME GT Nite Pony. I don't drag race any more like the old (younger) days but having a Tesla next to me at a stop light is a discouraging feeling...

I tried to search it a few times and can’t seem to find anything about acceleration times for the Chinese GT.

Supposedly it has no 5 sec limit, so it should be quicker in the 1/4 mile.
I think it has a completely different battery pack altogether.

I read somewhere (searching...) that the new MME as of second half of the year, came out with a new battery - not the lithium ion but lithium iron phosphate . Dealer didn't know about it so I thought maybe it was a BS story, so we bought the '23 MME anyhow.

Yes.
The base model 23 1/2 Mach E has a newer cheaper battery and a cheaper starting price to go along with it.

Doesn’t affect the GT.

Ha! Whatever man, whatever.

And here's why I posted that comment. All this gnashing of teeth about another car having better acceleration is just pintless and somewhat childish to me. There will always be another car that is faster than any car you buy - unless you buy a Rimac. Well today anyway, until some other electric comes out that is faster. It's just bragging and "my *** is bigger" mentality and I get tired of it. I was over that sort of thinking when I was no longer a punk kid. I bought this car because it gave me everything I wanted, and not because it was faster or slower than something else. If that bothers you, well like I said, whatever. But I am allowed to express my opinion about that, eh?
