Read first post.@generaltso so they’re just going to jump me to 1.3?
Yes, along with everyone else.@generaltso so they’re just going to jump me to 1.3?
Yeah I hope they tweaked the braking strategy in BlueCruise 1.3 as well. It's a bit oversensitive, and it also gets too close during moderate to heavy braking. You have to keep distance set to 1 in traffic or else the gap is too big and a bunch of people will try to change lanes in front of you. When you get behind a bad driver that likes to jab their brake pedal, it gets pretty jarring in the Mach-E because it looks like panic braking events to the radar. I would add a bit more filtering to the brake response, and also increase the following distance under moderate/heavy braking. Slowing down quickly about 1 car length behind the car in front is a bit scary, human drivers leave a much bigger gap in the same situation.Everyone complaining about Bluecruise braking too hard must have more pleasant commutes than me. I feel like I have cars jutting in front off me all the time as it is.

I like to see it start slowing down sooner when you are at full highway speed and approaching near stop traffic... or at least allow the user to adjust the deceleration/acceleration curve as a setting.Yeah I hope they tweaked the braking strategy in BlueCruise 1.3 as well. If you get behind a good driver that smoothly brakes, then it's not too bad other than the creep behavior right before a complete stop. I wish it would come to a stop faster, rather than creeping at 0.5 MPH to close the gap and then abruptly applying the brakes when the distance is closed.
I have faith in the market! They announced original pricing at $200 a year, and people seemed generally ok with that. So they try to squeeze us. Now it is clear that almost no one is ok with $800 a year. They will get that feedback and drop the price, then the question is how much. Obviously 75% paying $200 a year for BC is better than 10% of us paying $800 a year. They need to tweak the price. That would fix a lot of the problems people are having with BC. Lol
How much are the other subscription prices now for Navigation & Real time traffic for those that are coming up on 3 years ?I have faith in the market! I don't think anyone is at 3 years yet.How much are the other subscription prices now for Navigation & Real time traffic for those that are coming up on 3 years ?
I took delivery in March of 22, so I have some time. How much are the other subscription prices now for Navigation & Real time traffic for those that are coming up on 3 years ?
The cars that hit three years this upcoming January are a bad sample for everyone else’s possible pricing. Those are all Job 1 cars whose owners were specifically promised, in writing, a renewal of $600 for an additional three years. Ford has indicated they will follow that pricing for those cars for a single renewal. How much are the other subscription prices now for Navigation & Real time traffic for those that are coming up on 3 years ?
He's asking about the navigation and traffic, which is a different connected service than BC. All owners should be in the same boat on that renewal cost. The cars that hit three years this upcoming January are a bad sample for everyone else’s possible pricing. Hopefully a mutually acceptable price level can be found for those for whom BlueCruise us an actual thing.
