i honestly do not understand the negativity. In these times having a place to go even virtually where people can share thoughts and ideas is a great thing. I guess there are those who do NOT appreciate it and instead put themselves selfishly in an obviously awkward position ruin it for the rest of us. This is just plain sad. There is plenty of REAL negativity in the world. We do not need it here.

stupid question but how many days does it take to actually make one full car from beginning to end???
There's no such thing as a stupid question :)

I may be wrong, but I think I heard it said to be about 4 days, counting stamping, painting, paint curing, and assembly line (normally).

If/when you obtain a "Scheduled To Day" date then that is the day it is expected to roll out the factory door. So if your date was 12/4 then the order should have hit the plant floor about 7 working days earlier.

The schedule back loads the operations to make the target completion date.

Some things take time. They've got to build the body. Then they paint it and you want the paint to cure. Then there's the battery & chassis. Finally on build day everything comes together and you get a car!

No idea really. 2-3 weeks?
For me the big question is if the MMEs are going to get full transport trucks all to themselves or if they are going to the rail hub and intermix with all the other Ford models. So, when a transport trucks takes vehicles to Denver CO......is it going to be loaded with F-150, Explorers and Mach Es or will it be just the Mach E's by them selves?

Normally, they intermix. But these are unique times....

However, we do know there are quite a few going to California and other major markets so it might make sense to load transport trucks with only the Mach E and segregate them from the other Ford models. If they do it that way then more Mach Es would reach their destinations much quicker than the normal shipping method.

It is highly likely the logistics team is exploring alternate shipping plans in order to deliver as many vehicles as quickly as possible. From an accounting perspective....getting these into the owners hands before the end of the year is a prime concern.
