Does anyone who has an order coming now been told that there is no discount off retail? A colleague of mine who was the GM for a Ford store told me that Ford is making the invoice and MSRP the same so dealers wont be incentivized to discount the car? X Plan apparently won't give you anything off?

Up to the dealer to honor Plan pricing. MSRP is set and few dealers will negotiate that because of the pricing model Ford is using (they are making very little off this car).

Ford has already stated that the Mach-E does qualify for X-plan pricing (as long as your dealer participates).
Correct but if invoice is the same as MSRP and there aren't any additional incentives off then what would that discount for X plan be?

You can look up Plan pricing on your affiliate website usually. For a $47k Premium the price would normally be $48100 after delivery. XPlan makes that price $47435

when I log into x plan pricing and my zip code in Ohio the First Edition isn't included with their programs. I hope that changes when it's built next week
yeah the First Edition used to be listed and right now nobody is sure why it's not. Current working theory is that it's because FE is really Premium plus a package so the Premium discount applies, but that still doesn't get you an actual number. The Ford insiders on here are aware of this issue.

Thanks for that. Little encouraging at least.

Maybe @hybrid2bev can clarify, but my understanding is that if a dealer decides that they're participating in the A/Z/X program, then they're under obligation to accept A/Z/X pricing. I didn't think Plan dealers could pick and choose which customers or cars they'll honor the Plan pricing for.

I hate this X plan thing. Some dealers won't honor it. If it's a plan, all dealers should honor it seems to me. Otherwise don't have it at all.

What I could find for the plan rules says this: Participating dealerships agree to comply with all of the terms outlined. Participating dealerships must sign a Dealer Agreement located on the AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement on each New Vehicle Purchase Program sale or lease.

Ford will determine which vehicles are eligible or ineligible for plan pricing. Which Ford has already done:
EFC08063 : Mustang Mach-E will have AXZD-Plan pricing available on all series at time of order.
• Plan Business provide eligible employees and family members with the following discounts:

  • AZ: 4% discount from MSRP (less D&D) + $275 customer admin fee + 0.25% Tier 2 advertising charge
  • D: AZ price + $100 (as standard)
  • X: 2% discount from MSRP (less D&D) + $275 customer admin fee
The dealer is required to provide a true copy of the factory invoice showing the New Vehicle Purchase Program price on the line labeled "AZ-Plan," "D-Plan" or "X-Plan". The customer must be provided with a completed and signed AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement showing each added item and its price.

I don't see in the rules where it says if the dealer accepts plan pricing from one customer they have to accept it for all customers. Though in my own personal opinion I would think that the dealer owner and Ford would want the dealership to either be all in or not participate at all.

I think all dealers must honor it. My opinion from what my dealer said.

Dealers are not required to participate in Xplan. If they do participate, they cannot pick and choose which models to honor X-plan pricing on. It's all or nothing.

Anyone from Canada getting the X discount? My dealer in Burnaby BC says the Mach E in Canada doesn’t get the discount and we don’t even get the price drop that Ford gave to the US. Is this true?!
