I've owned my Mach-e since July '21 & have about 17K miles on it... so yes, primarily a local commuter car. I've been very happy with the car and often receive compliments from admirers that really like the body style (mine is white pearl). I've had two body related incidents recently that I felt compelled to share. The first involves the charge port door. I was distracted while unplugging the charger cord in my garage and just jumped in the car & backed out of the garage with the door panel open. BAM! was the sound it made when the panel snapped off on the garage side opening. Turns out it is deigned to easily detach! I simply slid/snapped it back on and all looks no worse for the wear. No chips, scratches, dents or otherwise. AMAZING! Next, we just had an incident this past holiday weekend where we collided with a deer at about 30-35 mph. Besides being so sudden & scary, the car took the head on impact extremely well. The front bumper, hood & left side fender all flexed with virtually ZERO damage aside from some deer hair requiring removal. The only casualty was the lower center bumper panel (black) was damaged (3x5" piece broke out) and some proximity electronics had to be adjusted & recalibrated. That was it. So major KUDOS to Ford on the design, materials & craftsmanship architected into the Mach-E body!

I 100% agree that the mach-e body is very durable and well designed.

A deer also ran into my car (rear quarter panel) and there was zero damage...but lots of deer slobber. ?

Also, my garage door decided to not fully open one day and. My MME took it like a champ. There are just a few light scratches on the roof spoiler.

Not bad, Ford. Not bad. ?

Um, wasn’t the deer the casualty?
Actually, unknown. Though it was a reasonably strong hit, it bounced up & ran into the woods! Might have survived… or not! No blood on the Mach-E…

Growing up in Texas we had a few friends who gave away deer meat after hunting. The meat had to mixed with domestic beef to make it edible.

Not hit anything living or edible yet!

Reversed into son’s car on drive which jumped out at me.

And that wall at the end of drive in the turnaround is VERY unpredictable, often leaps out at me when I turn around there, few scars on front bumper but bodyshop who repaired reversing damage gave me a load of correctly coloured paint for touching in??

I first read that as “… mixed with domestic beer to make it edible.” ???

It’s likely dead. Deer that are hit by cars will frequently run away if they can, but succumb to their injuries in the woods or something.
