I've owned my Mach-e since July '21 & have about 17K miles on it... so yes, primarily a local commuter car. I've been very happy with the car and often receive compliments from admirers that really like the body style (mine is white pearl). I've had two body related incidents recently that I felt compelled to share. The first involves the charge port door. I was distracted while unplugging the charger cord in my garage and just jumped in the car & backed out of the garage with the door panel open. BAM! was the sound it made when the panel snapped off on the garage side opening. Turns out it is deigned to easily detach! I simply slid/snapped it back on and all looks no worse for the wear. No chips, scratches, dents or otherwise. AMAZING! Next, we just had an incident this past holiday weekend where we collided with a deer at about 30-35 mph. Besides being so sudden & scary, the car took the head on impact extremely well. The front bumper, hood & left side fender all flexed with virtually ZERO damage aside from some deer hair requiring removal. The only casualty was the lower center bumper panel (black) was damaged (3x5" piece broke out) and some proximity electronics had to be adjusted & recalibrated. That was it. So major KUDOS to Ford on the design, materials & craftsmanship architected into the Mach-E body!
