I5 Strikes again, rock hit my windshield

Not even three months old and already damaged. I have gotten so many rock chips on I5 north of Seattle, so irritating. Made an appointment with Safelite tomorrow for a repair. It's just left of center so not directly in line of site, should be fine.

I don't think it would have in this case, the rock came directly at my windshield.

I feel you. I had one of those after my first Hwy50 trip after getting home. I've had another visit from the glass repair guy since. All since February. That said, the Honda that the Mach-E replaced had multiple visits over the years. (i.e., windshields appear to be cheaper these days.)

My wife was driving ours on I-10 in Phoenix and it ended up with a crack across the passenger area. Had the car for over two years, and it had a couple of small chips that I filled in myself. But this one will need a replacement when the crack expands.

I'm in WA too. In the past few months, my daughter and two friends have had to replace their windshields.

If only we had a law requiring trucks covered their loads (and was enforced):
