About a third of this forum are pilots or retired pilots. We feel naked without our aviators on, cause pilot. You can always pretend. ;)
Are you including GA pilots? If not, wow, that’s a lot of pros!

A very long time a go, a guy I knew who worked for a small shipping company lifted a full box of Ray-Ban Aviators destined for one of Canada's discount airlines. He was pretty proud of his "accomplishment". I was like Dude, you've crossed the line. We never separate a pair of Aviators from their aviators - bad karma. I'm not a pilot but I come from a family full of them, from my Grandfather in WWII on down to my cousin. Uncle worked for Boeing.

He got caught and was fired.

For what it's worth, you can route 10' lumber, pipes, or whatever diagonally into the passenger footwell and not risk the front or rear windshield.
Top 5 most useful thing I've learned on this forum.

Those among us that are without Derp (at times) may cast the first stone.

I have caused interior damage from home improvement store runs.
Did I mention I want supported trailer capacity? This is why.

It has been at least since spring since I committed this sin.

I am constantly picking up 10' lumber and pipes but they will not fit diagonally into the passenger footwell, at least in my car. I have to go from the windshield back but I always have a very thick towel up on the dash and haven't had a problem yet.

I will concede that you can only squeeze in a couple at a time this way.

This was a couple inches over 10', so not much room to maneuver, but I've fit a few lengths of ABS pipe in at once before.

The issue with the GTPE seats are the wide hard back shoulder bolsters so it’s more difficult to load it in the passenger footwell.

I dumbly did almost this exact same thing, but with a length of aluminum gutter. I thought it fit but I forgot how deep the back hatch is and when I closed it the gutter pushed forward into the windshield. $1500 and a new windshield later it was the most expensive 10' of rain gutter I've ever bought.

Oof on all this. Rent a u-haul, 30 bucks people! The MME really is basically an electric “sometimes hot” hatch, not a work truck.

Am I the only one who thinks that doesn’t look broken? It just looks like the reflection of the bunched up towel or tarp he has protecting his dash.

I think you're right. After a closer look, that windshield doesn't looked cracked. I think it's just reflections.
