(un)Stuck at 6.1.0 - 2021 Only

There's been enough chatter scattered throughout other threads on this, I figured we might as well have a dedicated thread to discuss it. I always appreciate having a thread I know I can go to for updates and news on a specific issue.

As far as I can tell it's specifically 2021 Job 1 vehicles that have started the BC update process, but stopped at 6.1.0. Is there anyone else in the affected group? Or is this pretty much it? Curious who else is in this boat

I'm hoping that we get caught up fast enough to have time to evaluate 1.3 before our BC trial is up.

There is an issue . It appears it's not an issue that's preventing our cars from receiving updates. So that's promising. But there is indeed some kind of issue related to the hardware 2021 vehicles have that's preventing them from sending the update out.

Oh great as a Job 1 2021 I can add this issue to the additional issue of still not having a working Frunk button inside the Frunk. Us Job 1 guys are used to being on the bottom of the totem poll.

I'm not saying those things aren't issues... But we also do get BC for SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than everyone else, better parking sensors, and kick to open tailgates. So it's not all bad ?

I'm a 2021 Job 2 (Aug build, completed in Oct, received Nov 29), AWD Ex. I've received all the updates through 5.1.1, but I'm not getting 6.1.0. Car is showing some funny behavior. When I turn it on and go the software updates screen, it generally shows that Auto Update is off, no schedule set and 5.1.1. is "Not Complete". However, if I wat a few seconds, it changes to show that Auto Update is on, shows my schedule of every day at 1:00 AM and shows 5.1.1. as complete. I've been checking daily for 6.1.0 for nearly a month now and this is the first time GA OTA updates haven't come to my car quickly.

2021 Job 2 GT (Oct build). Still on 6.1.0, but we didn't get it that long ago, so I wasn't expecting to move along any time soon.

Power up version numbers are not the same as Sync version.
We're all at 4.0.x something in Sync right now.

Is there a way to see what Version I'm on ? Sync Info under Gerneral Settings doesnt give a clear answer either.

There's not a great way. The only kind of good way is to go to software updates. It may or may not tell you what the last update you got was
