Anyone else not being able to open the rear doors from inside? I'm not seeing a child safety lock anywhere. The owner's manual video days says to pull the door handle twice but that's doing nothing for me. I had to let the people out manually from the outside. Someone help or let me know if yours had a similar issue.

Thought there was a button next to wing mirror adjusters?
Yep there definitely is, didn't notice what the logo was until you mentioned it. Thanks

My understanding is that when the driver engages the rear window controls lockout, it also activates the child safety lock on the rear doors as well.

If you cannot open the rear doors from the inside, check that you do not have the rear windows lock engaged via the the window control buttons on driver side.

Hope this helps!

Does anybody know if there is an option for us to just have one of the rear doors (either left side or right side) engage in child lock while the other one is disengaged or is it both of them together or none at all?

Nope. It's both or neither.

Retired. I'd say it was a mid life crisis, but not many people live to 140.

When you sell a car to a 70 year old, you should think to make sure the child locks are off.

Thought I was going to have to call somebody to get me out.

And I can't remember having to bend quite like that, at least not for a decade or so.

If you can’t bend your way to the front - use FordPass (if working ? and in non-inclement weather ) to lower all of your windows. Then you can use the outside button to open the rear door.
source: me, this is how I got of the rear seats when I was by myself after taking a nap.
