Aerodynamics are very important as speed increases. There is a formula for it, but I would have to look it up.
And the heating and cooling systems are a large drain on the batter pack.
The front end of the Mach-e looks good, but not all that slick for slicing through the air.
That could be a large part of why the miles / kWh are lower than I thought they would be.
In my Bolt in SE Florida, I can easily get 4.2 miles/kWh for all around driving if the A/C is off. Turn it on the "ECO" setting at 70 degrees and it drops to 3.6 miles/kWh.
It will be interesting to see how the numbers end up in the Mach-e
