My status changed as well and says as soon as practicable. It doesn’t mention pickup, delivery, or rental. Wondering if I should wait to get the letter to receive that service, or will it be automatic when I set appointment?

This may have Been posted already so apologize in advance.

I checked my Ford account today and the recall notice has been updated.

I should call to make an appt to get the part replaced as parts are now available. I did not receive another letter.

hopefully this is to be applied for everyone.

My Mach-e GTPE failed on Saturday. They called today and said the part is ordered and they should have it tomorrow and the car ready by Thursday.

This is the updated recall in my Ford account online

On the phone with my dealership. Curiously THEY have a letter dated today stating customer letters will be sent out by priority repair starting Dec 29th. i’m in Ohio. They can’t even order the part. Said it seems as if they’ll be able to in mid-Jan. And, yes, pickup, delivery and two day rental included.

My question is how long does this recall take to do so I can plan out taking my Mach E off line for a little while. While I dont need a loaner it still reduces me to 1 car for the family for a while and takes some coordination work.

Called dealer and service for ev to call on date to install. Takes 4 days to get part 2 days to install. I am going to ask on a loaner.

Dealer told me that their service notice says Ford will pick up a rental for 2 days, probably a Ford

What does the scheduling lead time look like? Are dealers typically booking a few weeks out? A month out?

Mine is 2 weeks away mainly due to holidays and my schedule

Correct. Current failures first. Ones that haven't failed next. Last are ones that have been replaced and are working fine.
