HVBJB Recall-parts now available

This may have Been posted already so apologize in advance.

I checked my Ford account today and the recall notice has been updated.

I should call to make an appt to get the part replaced as parts are now available. I did not receive another letter.

hopefully this is to be applied for everyone.

It's recommended you wait until you get your letter in the mail to schedule. GTs will get letters first from what I understand.

“It changed from a advance notice yesterday to information provided to the dealerships to complete the recall. Let's wait till after the Holidays unless you can drop it off and leave it for a undetermined length of time for us to complete it ”

I just checked my account and the recall notice is updated for my CR1 XR. It says parts are available and I should schedule service immediately.

Mine also says get it repaired, Premium ER. Just emailed my Service Manager to get a slot in January.

Thanks for posting. Just checked my Ford account and I too have the update, indicating that I should schedule the recall service. '21 GT

My status has changed as well. MY21 Premium 4X.
They recommend scheduling service “as soon as practical”, don’t unnecessarily DCFC and avoid repeated, back-to-back WOT events.

Just called my dealer and got it scheduled for next week, including a rental. I’m a bit skeptical that it will actually happen, like I’ll get a phone call between now and then that they don’t actually have the part yet. We’ll see.
