Just received this letter from Ford advising they will be replacing my HVBJB once parts become available. I’ve not had a failure yet so really pleased they are now being proactive. It’s one thing that worried me about doing any long European journeys.

Funny I had mine come through the post on Thursday. Be interesting how long it will take to get parts. I've been waiting for wheel bearing replacement under warranty for 3 weeks now.

Me too. Hopefully given the plan to change when parts are in the car won’t be off the road for more than a day!

My letter came on 27th December. As a New Year's resolution from Ford let's hope there's no future major recalls.

Wey-hey! Happy New Year.

Had mine last month sometime, I’m almost ready for Stangy’s third, 80,000mile service so hoping they can get parts for then. Sounds like an Enterprise van for the week!

Bumping my own post. Has anyone in the UK had their HVBJB replaced proactively following receipt of the recall letter? I don’t mean after a failure, rather that Ford has written again to them asking them to take their car in for the replacement. Or, are the parts still not available?

There's been no further contact from my dealer or Ford HQ.

Sadly, I’m still waiting for this recall to be actioned and zero communication from my dealer. I have called them several times and dropped by, since I got the recall letter last year. Staff all seem really nice and make promises to keep me informed, etc, but then….silence?
Communications from Ford are really poor.

Now I also have a shuddering-brake issue, with scored rear disks. Fronts seem ok.
Anyone else had this issue at all?

Ford UK Customer Service told me that replacements would start in Q2:

“For the HVB Recall, this is going to be carried out in the 2nd quarter of this year so you will soon me notified by letter to advise when this recall will be ready to be carried out.“

hello, yesterday I stopped in a parking lot and couldn't leave, I got the following message, "total power activated".
And I have already had the message "powertrain fault light and HT battery alert" three times, with a loss of power which disappears after each OTA update. Is it serious doctor??
I have the MMM first edition 2021
