We drove from upstate NY to NW Wisconsin and back for the holidays, took my wife's 4x4 Ranger, not many chargers for my MME on this route (Upper Peninsula Michigan, north central Wisconsin)
Yesterday at an OnRoute rest area on the 401 near London, Ontario we parked near the Ivy chargers where a Vinfast (not sure which model) was hooked up. As we left, we passed a truckload of Tesla's including 2 Cybertrucks on top. First time I had seen a Vinfast or a Cybertruck in the wild.

I was excited yesterday when I noticed another white MME stopped beside me at a light. Then I noticed behind that MME a white Model Y.

Progress!

Last Sunday on my way to Ohio, I saw the GMC Sierra EV Denali pull in to a charger in upstate NY. I've never seen/recognized a pre-production car before.

Thanks for photo.
Questions if you recall, please.
Was there two chargers?
Two stands with two chargers each?
Reason I ask, the gear in photo appears to have two oil or air cooled AC/DC converters.
Thanks.

Yesterday saw my first MME parked in my home town, so there are at least two of us. But over Christmas we did see two other Red MMEs in the Seattle area.

I'm north of Seattle and I hardly ever see another MME around me. I pulled into the mall the other day and in the lane next to me was my doppelganger, we went separate ways at the turn, but it was cool ?

Well I am in Bakersfield California. 90 minutes north of LA. Ev are EVERY 5th car. MME/tesla/hyundai/Kias everywhere. In LA the rates of EV skyrocketed. On the I-5 trip to LA we used to only see 1 transport of Tesla. Now 6-8 is not unusual. Hertz has teslas so if my car is in the shop I rent one for $70. Tesla SUCKS compared to my MME AON SOOOOO many levels. LYFT/Uber has a deal going that if you do X amount of rides the cost is $250 for the MONTH. As such they rent a LOT of them. If you do not do enough rides then you pay $70 per DAY.

We were cruising/traveling through Alaska for 12 days on late August/23. Don’t recall to have seem a single EV in the ports, cities or parks.

That was in East Greenbush, NY, and that EVgo has two big chargers that can charge two vehicles simultaneously, plus two smaller ones that do one car each.

The more you ride, the less it costs?

What kinda business model is that?

Or is the $250/mo for the Lyft/Uber driver to rent a Tesla and drive it?

Then it still doesn’t make sense that they could put a ton of miles on a rental car and use it for business purposes for that cheap.

Lucids, Hummers, GV60s are ones I’ve seen in the wild but are the rarest. I’ve seen everything else at least 10 times - Ariyas, Lyriqs, etc

As for not rare… I just joined Costco and saw 6 white Teslas having their tires replaced. Technicians said their entire garage was all Teslas just before I snapped these photos

Those chargers are 350kw power shared ones, when two are charging you are limited to 175kw on each side. Those are the same chargers being installed at Pilot/Flying J.

The smaller EVGO chargers are 100kw.
